We're in too this year, might have friends pop in but really depends on my hubby as he's coming down with man-flu again (re-occuring for the 3rd time, he just cant seem to shift it)
Also waiting to hear from my dad as to whether he's popping down tomorrow.
If not it will be me and the kids (ds 12, dd 7) celebrating LOL while hubby stays in bed.My beloved dog Molly27/05/1997-01/04/2008RIP my wonderful stepdad - miss you loads:Axxxxxxxxx:Aour new editionsSenna :male: and Dali :female: both JRT0 -
We are invited to a friend's house for board games and a quiz plus some nice food BUT I have a nasty cold and cough. I am not sure if I will feel like a late night tomorrow and it does not seem fair to inflict my bugs on my friends. I shall see how I feel tomorrow. My husband says he will not go without me so if we stay home, I am sure it will just be telly and an early night. And I mean an early night to sleep:rotfl:0

We shall be staying in and trying to keep warm! (we have had no heating or hot water since 23rd Dec and have now been given a date for the 2nd of Jan for the engineer to come and fix boiler) The first gas engineer kept us waiting while he faffed about trying to get a new pump, I've told the new engineer that if he appears on the 2nd without the new pump, that I may kill him on the spot!! :-)

In. Yet again; no-one invites wheelchair users to parties, y'know!
Not to worry - I'll have DH, a bottle of champagne, and a game of Talisman, so with any luck I can turn DH into a toad (specially if he inflicts Jools Flippin' Holland on me again). If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
