Sally and Bookie, I'm so sorry, the system is pants.

I used to have a Cinquecento, I hated every second of driving it. The pedals were at a really funny angle and hurt my ankles.
I found it impossible with trainers- hit brake and accelerator at once!

OK I am going to shut up...feel very embarrassed about moaning when I think I can survive if I just realised I can't have a champagne lifestyle and B won't get to go swimming and piano..these are luxuries (although I would go without a meal to give her these opportunities). After all I supposed I get a huge pay out of tax payers money compared to Bookie.
I'm not digging at you Sally. B deserves all those things and you work to provide them.
  • and the biggest laugh is that while the Gov expect people to love on £65, pay bills, feed and clothe themselves, there is now a nhs debt line for people stressed about their debt....!!

Sally I dont think its too much to ask that you are able to afford for B to go to swimming & piano.Bleeping system.
You need to go to your local CAB & they can plead hardship to council to get payments reduced.

I too was in tears from reading your posts.

What happened when you spoke to the tax people about the overpayment Sally? I thought if it was their fault, you didn't have to pay it back?
