No, no body should leave for pouring out their true feelings. It must be so hard for you both and having read things that you have written before, it has only just sunk in with me how you must be struggling.

I feel terrible now that I didn't realise - must stop being so selfish.

You mustn't feel terrible. You help us by being here. And who knows what next year will bring.
Must get a lottery ticket. :D

They have you every which way don't they?
I have had to go every week for 6 weeks for an 'intensive job search' only they don't have time to give you any more than the usual 'sign here'. Every other week I could claim travel expenses but that involved another 20min wait for £1. Did it once but it was just too humiliating.

Do they ever suggest any job that is of any use Bookie? I know when my daughter was going, she specifically sais she could only work part time because of her disability, yet they kept suggesting full time ones

Sally and Bookie, I'm so sorry, the system is pants.

I used to have a Cinquecento, I hated every second of driving it. The pedals were at a really funny angle and hurt my ankles.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

OK I am going to shut up...feel very embarrassed about moaning when I think I can survive if I just realised I can't have a champagne lifestyle and B won't get to go swimming and piano..these are luxuries (although I would go without a meal to give her these opportunities). After all I supposed I get a huge pay out of tax payers money compared to Bookie.

They don't have time to suggest jobs. To be fair it isn't their fault - they are overwhelmed.
Trouble is that they treat everybody the same - as if they don't want to work. They should have recived training to help the 'new' people they are now getting - the long term workers who's world has suddenly collapsed because of the economy.

Anyway - enough already from me. I just have the New Year blues.
