I am not paying Council Tax Tenmah - whoopee.
I may get help with the mortgage in a month's time if they ever stop sending me forms about the home improvements cost - receipts etc. I'm sure they will manage to wriggle out of most of it.
No other benefits apply.
I will get the house valued ready to sell in January and - well I don't know what to be fair.
Gone past wallowing and just resigned now. Nearly 40 years of being a good citizen up the swannee and god will not provide despite what my 'friends' say.
So Sally - it may well be best to give up your job! Crazy I know.
But I have family and 'non-christian' friends to stand by me.0 -
Right, off to watch crap shark film. Goodnight all
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -

Not crazy at all. It's designed like that. A dependent voter is a "good" voter."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -
Just about sums it up Im afraidBookie, its just rediculous, I know many people think we are lucky in this country and that we get a lot but I just think the whole system is !!!!ed. How can so many people live and survive on benefits? The way they do is so fiddle the system so they get maximum payment. I guess me giving up work would probably generate more income from benefits now...or find a job that pays minimum wage but for 16 hours..
