well, i struggled on through the pain (have 3 plasters on my finger!! :p) and finished the teddy. I ran out of wool so used some that matched best (and as you can see it doesnt!!!:p)

I changed the way the legs were sewn on and i think he looks better than the others. So here he is

    artydoll he is brilliant!

mine is 6.5 inches from the top of his ears to his feet. he is the same as the sparkly ones (except the big one that took 5 days which my neice loved!! :D) but is slightly smaller as the wool was thinner.

I think though that the big teddies are best, I just dont have the patience to do them, i tend to get bored if my projects last more than 2 days!

what patterns are you using? have you signed up to lions brand as both of my teddy patterns were from them.

Been busy doing all kinds of things, learned how to knit, don't find it as interesting as crochet personally, been doing some jewellery making, which I have loved, and been making my own patterns up for crochet, which are losely based on other patterns I have tried and then changed. Here's a few things....

Kazipoo - they are really good! I have seen a few wrist warmers that look good but I keep getting distracted by teddy bears and I am still wanting a sparkly red dish scrubber!! To many things to do! :P

I know, just lately the days have been speeding past, what with one thing and another, but I'm loving putting the effort in and finding the time for my new hobbies and to tell you the truth I think the hubby is loving the fact that I don't seem to have the time to give him grief either lol. At the minute I am playing around with patterns and stitches and had already done some wrist warmers for him and the kids, but I decided I wanted something a bit chunkier for mine, which is the reason why I incorporated the bobbly stitch.... only problem now is, everybody wants chunky ones now!! The socks were the biggest thing for me though, I wanted a good pair that were one piece, so looked at many patterns, again this is primarily from another pattern seen online, although they must have had giant feet, because the hubby is a size 10 and I had to reduce it by 6 lines!!! I'm still not entirely happy with a line or two in the pattern and will probably make some very slight changes when it comes to doing mine, plus I want the slouch sock look at the top rather than the post stitch!
