Its nice to see all the lovely things you ladies have been making.
I havent posted here since the beginning of january as ive been waylaid with cross- stitch.
Ive now made a mouse, cherries and a octopus...
(Sorry i dont know how to get all the images to be the same size.)
Ive also made a egg shaped bunny that doesnt have a face yet.
I think i then got too ambitious, i tried a rooster and its body some how went loads smaller than its head so its rather deformed. I will take a picture of it later for my blog.
Any how the real reason im here is does anyone know where i can find a pattern (free) for small ish (the amigurumi will be about 5cm when finished) wings- i want to make my mum a flying pig!0 -

If anyone can remember the bookmark i did for my dad of my dad - well, its his birthday today and he phoned (my dad never phones, he hates using the phone) to say thank you and that he loved it! :T0 -

Thanks guys i'll have a play when ive finished the pig (i started this one http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=30488.0 ) and see which wings look best.
Nuttybabe- Ive had a couple of cats in my "want to make list" http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/70585AD.html?noImages= (this place has loads of freebies but you need to register- for free, with it to see them) and http://nimoe.wordpress.com/2008/08/18/miuku-the-cat-pattern/
I want to do somehting like a penguin next but i cant find black wool that doesnt cost a fortune at the moment. Might just have to bite the bullet and buy it at £1.50 then i can get the rest for about £1.0 -

I had to leave my blanket for a bit because it was doing my head in. I picked it up again yesterday and it's finally, if very slowly, beginning to resemble a blanket :j
I'll post a picture when the block I'm working on is all joined together. Hopefully between then and now I'll have worked out how NOT to join the wrong edges together."Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.
"Oh, it’s only me, the littlest Billy-goat Gruff and I’m going off to the hills to make myself fat"0 -
:j I've finished the block I was working on and added some of the finished hexagons so I could get a general idea of the size and how it was going to look. It's far from finished but it's starting to look like a blanket. It's been a real learning curve but next time (if I EVER make another blanket) it'll be so much easier
The pictures are kind of dark and don't show the colours properly but I wanted to share now. It was originally meant to be 9 rows down and 13 rows across but has somehow turned into being 16 rows across"Who’s that tripping over my bridge?" roared the Troll.
