Oh Lemon Tree I don't get asked for a memorable year...i'm jealous that you do and I don't, but as i can't remember the memorable word i have no hope of remembering the year. LOL.

My mum paid for me to get my hair cut today which was lovely of her and very much appreciated...so thanks mum.

I have received my first CC statements of 2011 and in a perverse way I am pleased to have them as I can start to plan my debt free plan of attack.

    In no particular order:

    CC1 £2143.29
    CC2 £2019.89
    CC4 £1205.92 approx

I would love to get CC4 down to £1000 this month, CC1 down to £2000. CC2 and CC3 are on repayment plans so they are OK at the min. And CC2 have announced that they are keeping me on a repayment plan for another 6 mths, this is without me asking, but I also suspect that as I didn't pay previously they are just doing that to make me pay over the min payment. But the plus point is that they are holding my interest rate at 12% so i'm not going to moan too much.

That was a lot of maths at this hour of the night.

Right off to nosey as everyones diary.

    Love you all.

    Afternoon all,

Well car insurance quote was up for renewal and I've only just done it, i have to point out it was expiring tonight. So I had a quote from my ins company of £881, did all the price comparison sites and the best I could get was £582. Then in true MSE form I asked the bank, simply because they have a cash back offer. They were able to beat the best quote I got so I have an extra £9 a mth to throw at debt. I have to point out that my car ins quote went up by over £200 just because the ins company can!!

So that's my bit of good news and even better is that they haven't taken a big deposit so I am paying from today the amount I will each month, make sense?

    Nothing much else to report.

Off to do my books for self assessment as i have superbly managed to mess up the dates and an accountant!

    So I'm away

    Chat tmmw.

well done on the insurance thing, my OH's went up abou 300 this year, and that's with an extra year's no claim so i had to sort that out for him, got him a quote for about what the old one was, why do they think they can do these things and get away with them?

    Hi LL

Found your diary :) thanks for supporting me in mine and I will do the same for yours.

    Duly subscribing.

I too am doing the car insurance thingy this month which I am not looking forward to as hate filling in online forms!

The PPI thingy you're doing - did you have all the account details etc that you used to hold with them?

I am still here, just been busy.So update so far, only made minimum payments to cards this month!! hate that, but i have to hold on to the overpayment money as I need it for my dads birthday.

Next tax bill, which needs paid on Monday and the accountant also needs paid! It's all bills and i'm getting fed up of having no money.

So rant over, I need to write a letter tmmw afternoon when I get home from work, so that will be a definite esp as I totally forgot all week about writing it. On the plus side on Monday I am off and after I go into town I will tackle the ebay items I have to list and chase up all PPI claims.

DF2012, to answer your question, I just followed the links on MSE for the templates and that is all that I did. You do need patience but for the cost of a few stamps and sending items signed and recorded it's worth it.

    I'm off.

    Lots of Love,

I am going to get onto it next week I think.

Good to see you're ok and just busy.

I too hate the min payment malarky - wish I could pay it all off in one go I am so impatient!

    As promised I'm back,

Off work today so I suppose I really should do something constructive, like list things on ebay!

Wonder if i watched TV and listed at the same time would that be OK? Well i reckon it will have to be as i have no motivation at all at the min.

    Off to do consructive things.

I need such a boot up the rear end, it has been 3 days short of a month since I was last on here. And i can honestly say that i have well and truely fallen off the wagon. Nightmare.

So it's back and mega focused.

Since I was last here I have had to sell my car and get a new one, and I borrowed some money off my dad, so that's money that needs to be given to him. Just goes on and on doesn't it.

I have a million things to do and genuinely don't know where to start, so i suppose I should just start and get on with it.

    I'll pop back in tmmw.

    Be good.
