Well, we've needed to get our !!!!!! in gear and do some hiking as bf's family are really outdoorsy and end of May we're supposed to go to Yorkshire to do the 3 peaks there, which is very up and down and about 25miles.
After the 18miler at the weekend, I finally feel I'll be fit enough to do it.

Using my hsbc card for food this week as someone's got hold of our tesco cc details and been buying stuff on it. GRRR!!! But it'll be paid off in full as we always do with our food card. Tell you what, last months 'food' bill was a total shocker! £70 more than expected per person. I did have friends around for a weekend and bought some booze but it was a bitter of a shocker none-the-less.

Looking forward to long holidays in 2 days time!!!! :):):)

still haven't done much more about job hunting...*hangs head in shame* :o:o:o never seem to have time...what an excuse!

All these bank holidays are brilliant aren't they!

I also am finding our food bill to be shocking. A particular yoghurt I like has gone up by 20p in 2 years. That is nearly 50% of the price. It is unreal

Absolutely brilliant. 11 days off by taking just 2 leave days! Happy days! :)

Will go up to N.Wales to see bf's mum and then do some walking/mountain biking in Snowdonia. Not sure what we do mid week but then the wedding weekend, bf's dad and brother are meeting us in S.Wales for surfing/mountain biking. Can't wait! Hope the weather is good too.

    What are your plans CMD?

Hi Tirl - surely you are telling Tesco that someone has been using your card fraudulently and the police - you are not paying that off are you?

I am having 3 days annual leave off too.... I am considering booking Thursday off as I just feel soooo shattered - and now I've found out that hospital appointments are covered by flexi-credit I feel I could use up a day's leave without worrying too much.

Oh no no. Tesco contacted us or bf as it's his card. We don't have to pay any of that. We should have another card by next week.

I think you should probably have Thursday off.

Went for a really slow run last night, but I did the mileage I wanted and that's all that matters. Was very warm outside though. Lovely obviously but bit too warm for running. Same tonight.

Have work outing tomorrow. I'm only going cos our ex boss (took voluntary redundancy) left each of us £15 to spend so will go for a few drinks. Then need to decide if we're heading to N. Wales in the evening or waiting till Friday.

Hmmm, just checked my tesco cc statement (not the food one, my new one) and again, there was interest on though it's supposed to be 0%. They said when took it that I'd have to pay little interest on first statement (for some reason, for the bt fee I think) which was only 10p. This is the second statement and the interest was only 39p but it's the principle. So called them straightaway. The woman said she'd take it off and stop the interest. Have to keep my eye on it though. Sneaky so and so...

Your right - they can be very sneaky and you have to watch them.

Hi tirl - yeah I decided to take tomorrow off and work were fine about it. Glad you are not paying someone else's fraudulent spending... Weird about the interest tho....

Glad you are managing to keep up with your fitness targets. Have you noticed any difference in your clothes yet?

    Hi SH.
Yes, clothes are pretty much back to normal now. I'm under 10st as well now. Not sure by how much atm but it's under! :) Obviously would like to get back to my normal weight and ideally wouldn't mind being under 9st but really the main thing is to tone up.
Legs are starting to feel powerful again. First I struggled with running cos I was doing so much cycling but had another run last night and legs were feeling good so all in all getting pleased. Fitness wise I'm starting to get there as well.

I'm back. Had a lovely holiday, more about that later.

Have used the hsbc cc again, a bit for food and petrol as the tesco cc was used, but we have a new set of those now. Also had to buy new peddles for my bike (the old ones were useless going mountain biking and to be honest, dangerous as there was no grip). Also bought a cheap wetsuit, some outdoor clothes (t-shirt and walking and running socks) and got my hair cut. Put that amount in brackets as that will be paid in full from next pay cheque. I'm allowing myself now to use some of the 'extra' money to buy things that I really need, cos otherwise I'll never get anything and won't be able to enjoy my hobbies. And the debts are going down and I will be debt free before next summer! Should really change my aim in the sig as well.

Have read up on everyone's diaries but haven't had time to reply at any depth yet. Seems like everyone's doing really well though.
