That sounds fab CMD hope you have a really good time! I really want to book a holiday asap! Perhaps book it even this weekend - just waiting on hospital appointment Friday so know what is happening next....it is very sore now, can't find a comfortable position, sitting hurts and especially lieing down. Walking is uncomfortable but the best options atm. Whole of my left side feels like it's in a spasm.
Holiday sounds lovely. I have 11 days off between Easter and early May bank holiday
Feel bit like I'm letting bf down by not having sorted out a job a
Hi Tirl
A lot going on for you there. Glad you are getting a good Easter break - hopefully you can step up your job hunting then too. I will try and send you that work book tomorrow that I was talking about as my broadband is now back up and running
Hope you have a great time off - I am having time off then too - only using 3 days annual leave for loads of time off. Hope that your injuries improve soon = sounds really painful for you... can't believe you were still cycling with all that pain!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Funnily enough, it didn't really hurt that much when I was cycling back, but I think that triggered the spasm in the end. Bf gave me a back massage and a hot water bottle helped a bit, but only ibuprofen made a real difference and allowed me to sleep. Took these slow release ibuprofens so still feeling ok. I think it was the not exercising bit on Tuesday that got it so bad as it happened again (pulled it a bit in last Monday's training as well) in training on Monday night, but in the last 10minutes when we were playing a game, and that bit weird in itself as well.
Anyway, bf is staying in Bristol tonight again as he's joined a social club with work and it's bowling, pizza and beers for a fiver tonight. I'll go for a walk at least tonight though I did walk to work today to get the back moving a bit. Then work more on the CV and covering letters. Did send some applications out yesterday...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

Cycled in today. Back is ok, though did take slow release ibuprofen last night as well. Am going to cycle longer way back home, only 5miles though so nothing big. Bf will be home already so hoping we could go for a nice walk in the park as it's such a lovely weather.
We're planning something nice for tomorrow as well, will be either a hike or cycle ride. Need to go and try some wetsuits on as well so I know what size I am and hopefully can get just a cheapy one for the summer for surfing. Bf has his own and has a long term loan on a board so decided I'd get kitted up as well and we'll buy a bodyboard for me and then that's a cheap weekend thing we can do together.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
Glad your pain has subsided a little
I wish I could even cycle 5 miles! Surfing sounds really fun - I think I need to get more inventive with my time off when I read diaries like this one!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

We went for a lovely 10mi Waterfalls Walk at Ystradfellte yesterday. The weather was awesome, so sunny and warm, was really nice.
Didn't get to try any wetsuits as we left too late and came back about 6pm.
Today I have IVB match, just one thankfully so don't have to be inside all day.
Back is fine again.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -
