    Hey CMD!
Didn't realise I haven't been on my own diary for nearly 2 weeks...Things are going ok. I'm still avoiding anything to do at actually getting a job in Bristol which isn't very clever.:o

Off to Finland in couple of weeks as well, can't wait! Focusing on the positive atm. :)

    Hey CMD and all.

Yes, I was in Finland. Early flight on Monday 7th. Had a cold most of the time I was there and Wednesday I spent in bed. :( Didn't get to do as much as if I'd been feeling fine (still bunged up a bit and not feeling 100% - second cold in as many months). So bf didn't have such a great time but he went cross country skiing with my dad and then we did go downhill skiing for half a day together when I wasn't feeling so bad.

It was mostly really cold, between -16-20 degrees, brrrr, I must be getting soft.
Wedding was lovely, or the wedding party as they got married the day before in magistrate's office. Had a really good night but also fell out with bf. But we are back in very good terms. We hardly ever fight (almost never) and never get afterwards why we started fighting in the first place. Anyway, all in all the holiday was great. Have had enought of colds though!

Oh, got the santander cc but they only gave me measly £1100 credit limit and then only transferred £600 so have to transfer the £445 that's left but didn't have my virgin card on me today. Tesco's have offered me a crappy 6month 0% BT but with 2.98% fee. I need to check when the Zero card 0% finishes and maybe transfer it to virgin if I can get it on 6.9%, otherwise bf said he might be able to help me to get it on that rate. Also included HSBC card which I bought some stuff but should be paid soon in full.

  • Sorry to hear you had a cold. Hope you are feeling better now.

You are doing so well with paying off debt. Mine is rising so I am going to calculate it all when we move and make a plan to get rid of it once and for all. This is going on 8 years now and I want it gone in 2 years time.

Thanks Savingholmes, professional advice would always be welcome, just let me know when you feel up to it. I'll probably just take the first job that's offered to me now so we can move but maybe I should start thinking bit more long term enjoyment out of a job.

Had a friend over for dinner last night as bf was away again. Was lovely to catch up with her;we live in the same city but last couple of weeks have been very busy and I've been away so haven't been able to see her. Ended up just chatting which was really nice.

Getting used to sleeping on my own now, and bed feels wonderfully large when you're in it by yourself! ;)

Its always nice to catch up with friends. I also love it when I get the bed to myself... we have a superkingsize and lying diagonal in that feels super luxurious LOL

Has your other half already moved to Bristol then or is he just not around for a few days?

Superkingsize???!!! That would be lush! We only have a double bed :(...

No, bf still lives here, he's just had quite a few work nights out and he's stayed at one of his colleagues. And it's really good cos he still doesn't know that many people in the area and now that he doesn't do so much exercise, doesn't get to socialise with other people.
