    Thank you ladies!
Such a short lived happiness as 5k is still a lot to owe but it's a milestone. I so want to pay the rest off by the end of next year but it's not looking likely unless I'll make a load of extra money. And so many other things I want to do next year. I also need to increase my rent payment by £50 cos bf has been paying that for me so I could get the s.loan paid this year. I think I need to re-visit my budget and see what I can do. But at least now everything I owe is in UK. :)

Are you going home for Xmas Tir?

Will the Xmas party be good?

My Xmas party (with the other mums) was last Friday and we all flaked out at 1.30am. Lol :)

No, I'm not going home. I think I've only been home once or twice in the 12 Xmas's I've been here. We're going to BF's parents. Unfortunately I need to work the 3 days between Xmas and New Year and we haven't decided what we're going to do for NYE yet.

Xmas party will be ok. I have no plans to stay very late but we'll see. There's some older ladies in our team and they have a very poor taste in clubs they want to go to. Also, I don't want to spend too much money althought the next to parties are paid for and are all inclusive.

How was your Xmas party with the other mums?

Had a lovely walk up Pen-Y-Fan yesterday. Some snow and conditions got better as the walk progressed, bit too early to get a clear view from the top though.

After went to Ikea to use our £25 voucher. Got a little table,tv stand, wine glasses and 6 piece plate set (+ a bag of mini daim bars) and only had to part with a ten pound note. :) Very please as living room looks even nicer now and we can invite people for dinner as we'll now have enough plates! ;)

I love vouchers! Especially when you only have to put a little bit towards what seems like a lot of stuff!

Sounds like a nice weekend :)

We have just bought flights to Finland for my cousins wedding, going for a week! It's so nice to have something to look forward to. So I have a week off in February, then week off in March when my dad comes to visit and I still have 4 leave days to take, which I'll probably use in January. Woo hoo!!! :) I'm just going to use all my leave this year and hopefully I'll be in a new job by early April latest! 10.5 working days before Xmas hols!!!!

BF's work do tonight! Managed to get hairdresser booked for half 3 so for once my hair will look perfect on the night (haven't had it cut for months!). Can't wait to wear my new dress! Yesterday bought two bags from M&S,one silver, one purple as couldn't decide which colour to go for. My dress is purple, but shoes and all other accessories will be silver. I prefer the purple bag though so will probably go for that one. They were only £6 so not too bad, esp as the one I looked online in Next (that thankfully they didn't have in the shop) was £18!
