  • OOh amazing what a thaw does. I have been out and tested my knee driving into the wonderful metropolis that is our town..

Bargainous market on- bought a large bag of courgettes- 50p same price for tomatoes and large bag of bananas were a £1. :)

Spent on essentials in Home bargains- so that was another £10. £5 of which is part of grocery challenge. So i will add that onto challenge.

Other than that not a lot to report-except i have logged onto my self assessment and they cannot bring my file up-the site is a nightmare and self assessment is taxing..pah. I only have a fairly low amount of mystery shopping monies, but it is proving troublesome. Will try again tomorrow.

Checked online banking so all good there.

  • Buurpp,

Well that's how i feel after a nice tea. Was all frugal like, and made potato cakes from last nights tea. The gannets were hungry this afternoon so filled them up and various teenage mates- who had never had homemade potato cakes before- but queued up for more :)

    Tea( last nights sausages =4)
Toad in the hole and accompanied by leek and potato bake, with last nights left over veg on top and cheese grated on.

Pud is weetabix cake, lovely recipe a la Weezl. But for those who didn't fancy it there was some fruit, with natural yoghurt poured over the top mmmm . Result is satisfied kids who said they weren't leaving home, think i will have to starve them now.lol

Billy Bargain- is the word for it Weezl:D:j:beer: All teenagers have polished it off, i did tweak it a tad reduced the sugar and added a bit of all spice to it ( DD2 is diabetic) but:drool:

Shucks at the compliment:o I learn off the best on here. Some of my best meals are your recipes and the lentil pate is being made again tomorrow :)

They are darned tasty Taxi, i wasn't missing out but decided to reduce my portion my having a smaller plate. I have filled up with fruit and a small slice of cake- oh my, you must make it as it is low fat.
