Ho Bob hope you feel better soon and Mr Bob wakes up to why any debt is bad.
He does know that a bank can withdraw an overdraft facility with less than a months notice, doesn't he? Not that you should scare him into taking action or anything...
Yes Thanks George- i will remind him of that.:D I just get into a whole emotional argument with him about money.
I should have given him kudos for trying to sort, but need to impress on him that he can't just pay things willy nilly and expect the money to be there- if that makes senseThis has been the problem as he has to ween himself off reliance on credit cards as a back up and begin to plan. It is no good one person doing things and then the other pulling it all away again.
He did try to emotionally blackmail me a bit as well, by saying if Crapital one weren't paid ( as in me) then they may take him to court and he would lose his job. I did say considering i am paying the mortgage, food and utilities for the past 8 months, as well as paying my debts and clearing overdraft- that would have given him more than enough money to clear Crapital one and catch up with his other cards.
I don't know what else i can do- as i am apparently totally wrong for trying to do the best i can. I should be happy to keep paying and shut up:o
I am trying to prioritise what has to be paid..and have no doubt i will end up paying Crapital one, but it bloody well sticks in my craw to have to do so.:o:oBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Who counts?- i am trying to get over 600 though- addicted moi??
Seriously though, i just enjoy the challenge and the game. It is nice to have something to stretch the brain cells with.
Although i will scale the games down next month as i will have course work, and paperwork to do. As for Farmville, well you know i don't play on it but will help where i can.
Other MSE news- wages today. Not what i was hoping for but still good considering.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Was a quite frugal tea tonight- 4 chicken thighs defrosted and roasted.
Potatoes and some frozen veg from Farmfoods.
I made up another apple and pear sponge cake, no added sugar as they were made up of eating apples and pears.( left in fridge)
Oh and i had some pastry left from corned beef hash pie, so i used up some whoopsied walls sausages and made sausage rolls.
The left over sausages will now be made into Toad in The Hole, so all good there as well. A loaf is in the bread maker and i am now sat with leg up to rest knee.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

Sorry to hear about the knee.I hope it improves soon.
Sorry to hear Mr B is not improving....0 -
It's a difficult one Taxi, he has some really good points. Today he has arranged for DS to have some free training to help get another job- DS is over the moon.
I was reading Hypno's response about her OH on Seaxwyns thread, maybe i should be more like that and look at the whole picture and make sure he doesn't go under.
I wish i wasn't feeling so resentful all the time, because he is going out working in his own way he is trying- some of it is also to do with the fact he can't credit card shuffle- but that is also a good thing because he can't fill another card up. Which is what he did when one balance was transferred onto another. The problems now come when the interest rates go on and that makes it more difficult to clear the balance.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
