So how much did your night cost then? Surely you should be trying to reduce your debts rather than add to them?!?

You'd think so  but so far the advice has been completely ignored and shes happy to rely on the bank (and accommodation) of mum.

Sorry LPS - but until you have had your LBM whats the point of keeping a 'spending diary', especially when your on the 'grabbit' boards everyday.

  • well i turned down 5 nights out in the past 2 weeks. Tickets for the gig were already bought, and it was worth every penny spent :)

I understand how you would borrow money off anyone, if the gig tickets had already been bought - I'd do the same. But in a perfect world we'd already have budgeted for money for the night out. ;)

However, over £100 on Lush stuff in the past two weeks is absolute madness! That would have paid off one of your debts!

its understrandable sionce the tickets were already bought, however if you are serious about getting out of debt then sacrifices have to be made

when i was at my most in debt you were lucky if i get getting out once every month or 6 weeks cos i just couldnt afford it
  • Well it's been crazy here the past few days.
Was my grandpa's birthday yesterday, and my little brother's birthday today! He is a teenager now....scary stuff!

I got him 2 tops in the River Island Sale: Originally, should have been £30+ but got them both for £8.50 with the extra 50% off deal :)
So he is very happy with them, going out for a meal tonight with everyone for his birthday.
Mum is now asking where i want to go next week for my birthday meal...no idea! I have a 1/3 off voucher for Yo sushi they emailed me for my birthday, but i doubt my little brother or step dad would eat anything there. All i eat from there is their katsu curry.

Bestie asking what i want for my birthday too :s Dunno what to say, i got her the soap and glory hatbox when it was on offer for £20. But she thinks it was £50. So i think thats roughly how much she will end up spending on me....eeeee! I have told her not to bother, as she is taking me out next Friday for my birthday, and have said that is enough.

Still no sign of my money refunded from the direct debit fiasco! Hope it is on tomorrow, as i need to give my mum that £30 back i borrowed.
  • Still no refunded money today, getting a bit annoyed now
  • Sold 2 books on Amazon, total: £6.10
Got my postage labels through from music magpie to send off stuff to them, total: £18

And i have some stuff finishing on ebay tomorrow, only one thing has a bid on it though :(

Have just listed a MASSIVE amount of make up on the lush forums for sale, hoping they ALL sell!

Well done LPS, now mind and pay any money made to your debt, NOT add to it by buying other goodies!
