Only the main roads, and the city centre is gritted. Nowhere near where i am is gritted! My mum even took to buying cat litter to buy as grit for the driveway, as there is no grit or salt in any shops near here! Even all the supermarkets have ran out of normal table salt!

I'm sure i heard on the news the other day that Scotland had ran out of salt and was having it imported

Yea to be fair they dont grit round our area, its like a massive ice rink - rediculous. Still i braved it today to get to work, only took me an hour instead of the usual 10 minutes lol.

Lol, well i managed to get down my hill to get the bus into town today, and only fell twice. So it's an improvement at least. Still i had my boots on, not my silly primark work shoes. Will see how it is tomorrow, might brave the bus to work!

    So for todays spends:
£3.00 on bus fares (£1.50 each way)
£2.20 on cotton wool pads and cotton buds (on offer in boots)
£3.25 on a pack of razors

    total: £9.45

Handed in quite a lot of uni work today, feeling better its done and out of my head now! Only one more to go, due in next Thursday, planning on actually starting it on Friday! Don't think it will be too bad though, it's about Ayr Racecourse, and we had a trip there not along ago to learn about for the report.

Working 2-6 tomorrow, think i picked up an another extra shift. Someone asked me to do their shift on Sat, as they are going to a party. He was going to ask our manager today, so will find out if it's ok tomorrow, really don't see why it wouldn't be though. Means i'll be doing 17 hours this week though, as well as a 5 hour on Sunday at time and a half :)

Looking forward to uni starting back to get my student weekly ticket again, i never usually have enough change for bus fare everyday.

Have you found out what the interest is? You might want to snowball to see what to pay off first.

  • So i have recently had all my statements in, and i way way off before with the figures for each one! oops.

Got my travel expenses in today, just under £600. I owe my mum £250 out of that for my tv she got back in December.

    So Today i have paid:
Dorothy Perkins Card: £50.97 (as it was WAY over it's £250 limit)
    Topshop Card: £15.00
    Kays: £10
    Very: £22

Still trying to find the number for the people dealing with my old phine bill so i can pay something to that...

But for now this is how things look:

    Dorothy Perkins Card: £218.00
    Topshop Card: £200.00
    Kays: £120.00
Very: £640.00 (inc all bnpl deals..only about £20 on it at the mo)
Old Overdraft: £1030 (not too worried about this just now, no intrest on it and have DD for £15 a month set up on it)
Old phone bill: £70ish? (need to phone them and find out)

As well as my current 2 overdrafts...my main account £1400 and my other one is £200.
  • found it, my balance was £92.01, phoned up and have paid £50 to it, bringing it down to £42.01 which i will pay off when i get paid on the 29th!

If you get paid once a month and receive your student loan once a month couldnt you have put all of the £600 (from the expenses) to your debts? Would have reduced them alot!
