Have spent all morning soooooo PEE'd off. The first ever DD i set up (from advice on here) has gone horribly wrong! Had set up a DD for £15 a month for my old student overdraft, was meant to come out on the 17th.
Checked my bank this morning, and i have £4?!
Phoned up, and after alot of pavala...found out that they took £151 out instead!
Getting it refunded, but it will take a few days, great! I have a night out planned tonight, and have a tenner in my purse!
Anyway i have got a wee notebook thing the other day, i tried working the spreadsheet, but i don't know how to work them so everything is all wrote down now.
And this is how everything is looking:
Old student overdraft: £1025
Old mobile bill: £42.01
Topshop card: £200.00
Dorothy Perkins card: £221.00
New Look card: £103.70
Kays: £120.00
Very: £350.30 (not inc mums as i have that seperate now)
Total: £2062.010 -
Now that you have it written down, you can start planning how to pay it all off.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170

This might be a thick question- but shouldn't you keep that travel expenses money aside to pay for your travel for this term? isn't that what its for?Debt free as of 2 October 2009
Mortgage free as of 27 March 20240 -
it's money for the whole year, not just one term. And i get my student loan monthly, so i pay for my bus fare from that.0

So how much did your night cost then? Surely you should be trying to reduce your debts rather than add to them?!?0
