You can freeze the bolognaise, but I always turn the left overs into chilli for a change, by adding more beans and some chilli powder.0

Hiya, a small spend of £8 to report. That was on hogmanay in my local coop as it was snowing very heavily and there was no way i was digging the car out for a bit of fresh salad from T's! I did get some half price packs of steak mince which i put in the freezer for a later date so that was good. It's still snowing here and people are struggling to get in and out of our street as it's on a hill so a NSD for me today i reckon. There is nothing i need food wise anyway.
I fancy making some soup later, am thinking lentil & bacon but will need to rummage about in the fridge to see what i have.
Have a good day,

That's just about every labrador I've ever met. Ours could open the fridge, and the only thing we ever found that it didn't like was lettuce.
Had an NSD yesterday, but managed to use/open £8 worth of food from my stock pile mountain..... but that included a large piece of Whoopsied rump steak (shared between 3) that I bought on Christmas Eve. I was absolutely gorgeous - lovely and tender, and really melt in the mounthBut I think it was extra-nice as it's the first time in a couple of years I've actually bought/cooked steak
Now have £109 for the rest of the month due to the way I'm doing my accounting.
Should have more than enough milk in to last until tomorrow (or even Monday), so not planning on going near the shops today either. Decision has been helped by a fresh fall of (the hailstone type) snow, and clouds overhead that look as if they could deposit more any timeCheryl0 -
I am in again this month (i will hopefully stay on target for 2010) can i be put down for £80 weekly this is for myself 3 teens 2 lo's 4 cats 2 dogs and 2 fish
and includes food, pet supplies, cleaning and toiletries. My weeks run Weds-Weds and so far i have spent £18
. I have armed myself with a note book to record spends and have also joined the meal plan thread to help keep me on track
, so with next weeks meals planned i should only need milk I have enough pet food to last till Weds next week.

Just updating signature with my first spends of the year £4.58 on cat food, sugar & bread. I sent DH out with the dogs to get it
He doesn't mind though and it stops me buying any more 'bargains' that I see
Our old Labrador would eat anything except radish but the new one eats anything including satsuma peel, onion skin and just about anything else whether it's actually edible or not0 -
Happy new year!
Please put me down for £100, is just for me and OH. It'll include food and household bits. Not toiletries though.
I'm hoping i'll stick to it this year!!!

Going for the first shop of challenge today. Have got a menu planned and list ready, so finger's crossed. If it's not on the list, it's not coming home with me....unless it's a whoospies and it can be frozen for next weeks meals! I feel empowered knowing that I'm on budget and saving money, but feel a little sad sharing that.Starting again and working towards our new df life!A very proud forces wife0
