Hi Cherrypie. Yes it freezes very well. Just take it out of freezer the night before you need it and put it in the fridge.Debt at 01/01/2010 £130 MBNA :T

Thanks Brodie1. Yes i forgot about the loo rolls. Yes i did get some also.
Our fiveways is a bit hit and miss though. They send the leaflet with all the offers on but when you get there half of its missing.
Personally i dont think they worry. They know we don't have any choice but to shop there. The only other shop we have is one of those Tesco metro things. Its tiny and never has the tesco own brand there and deffo no offers.Debt at 01/01/2010 £130 MBNA :T

hi, went to Sainsbury's after work tonight and spent £7.87 on milk, bread and pasta and a few other bits. I've still got quite a bit left in my budget so I don't think I'm doing too bad. I didn't know about the loo rolls in co op so I will probably send my mum tomorrow, thanks.0

Hi everyone :hello:
Another grim day on the spending front I'm afraid, £4.16 in Superdrug and £7 in £land. The latter had loads of snacky things that DH and I love, so they certainly won't be wasted! Can console myself with the fact that I've still spent far less than I would normally have done at this point in the month!
On a training course for the next couple of days so I should have some (albeit enforced) NSDs to look forward to - first time this month - yay!:j
Still got loads of food in pantry, enough to keep going for a couple of weeks I reckon. Might need some creativity in menu planning, but I'm sure the recipes here will help!
Am loving this thread BTW! Keeps me motivated just reading everyone's posts and really pleased that you're all doing so well :T Long may we continue!!

Evening all
Went to Mr T's after work and spent £13.41 on bits and pieces. To be honest I don't think I am going to have to spend much more this month (mine ends of 25th as I am going from payday to payday) so what I have decided to do is put whatever I have left into my cruise fund (going with a friend on 10 day cruise in April 2011 can't wait always wanted to do one :j) anyway that is even more incentive not to spend too much each month on groceries.

Made choccy mousse tonight really rich tho, bargin tho, 3 bars mr ms plain choc 27p each, 1 oz butter, 6 eggs 1.20 served 6.:jBrodie 1/ july 300/330.62:oAugust300/322.49:o

Hello everyone!
2 NSDs in a row now -there must be something wrong with me:D Very quickie tea tonight Cheese Omelette, Oven Chips and Peas followed by the last of the HM Mince Pies and Icecream. Not very healthy but quite nice. The cupboards are still fairly well stocked so I'll try to keep out of the shops tomorrow as well.
Keep warm everyone.:snow_grinSealed Pot Challenge 7 Member 022 :staradmin:staradmin:staradmin

Had a couple of NSD but have also done some grocery shopping. Total spent now stands at £91.68 with only £58 left of my budget. So I think I will be gong over but will try to do damage limitation. In saying that a lot of what I have bought this month have been bargins so maybe I set my budget a bit low for January as I hadn't counted on getting the post xmas reductions.
Anyway I will see how I get on.0 -
Its all well and good all these loo rolls and butter on bargain buys but i need some meat and food on specials. We cant eat the loo rolls. Come to think about it though if we dont eat we wont need so much loo rolls so i'l be saving twice over. OK Only joking.Debt at 01/01/2010 £130 MBNA :T
