hello! I have the tilda book and the warm fuzzies book and I wondered if anyone could point me in the direction of reasonably priced online fabric shops? Been to my local ones and it was too overwhelming and embarrassing for me so I have decided to order online, there seems to be a huge number of places but I hoped you could recommend some.

I've got the homestyle Tilda book and the Warm Fuzzies. For the warm fuzzies I have my MIL on the lookout for cheap wool jumpers in the charity shops down her way - she has an eye for a baragin ;) Our charity shops round here are not very cheap.

I'm also interested in where to buy fabric plus, I love some of the Ikea fabric - is it expensive or is it about average price does anyone know? (I don't have a clue)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
I think Ikea fabric cheap as chips and very often they are selling remnants and end of rolls much cheaper. I wanted the seagull fabric and it was down to 2.99 a m in Cardiff.

zombiecazz - I love how you've followed the shape of the flower for the sheep's outline. Great recycling.

I love the bag Zombiecazz, very clever :)

I thought I would tell you all about these fab t-towels I found in the Home Bargain store, they are 3 for £1.49 (i cann't add a pic ?).
One pack has cupcakes on a creamy back ground (all over) and one has cupcakes on the hem and creamy colour, the 3rd is baby pink with creamy dots.
The other pack I got is baby pink with larger white dots, flowery (pinks, yelow and brown on a cream back ground and a nother the same but on a brown back ground. They are 100% cotton. They remind me of 70's fabric lol.

The 2 with cupcakes on are going to be put up for my DIL, as she is a brill cake cook, to make a baking hamper for her.

I think I will be making a bag with one maybe 2 lol, and a crochet hook roll with the other.

I have to finish my curtains 1st lol. Oh and my rabbit I started crocheting :)
I wish I could get a pic to show you all.
Getting myself sorted 1 day/1thing at a time :) and Love sewing :)

I'm loving your angel Nuttywoman, I'm dying to make one, but gonna hang fire a bit, besides I dont have any Badger hair ( :) ).
Zombie - your bag is great, its nice to have a unique bag that no one else has. I do love the vintage curtains too.

I have been busy sewing this weekend will post some pics later on, managed to make 3/4 of a pair of curtains for my bedroom out of two duvet covers, but I ran out of header tape, will finish these this week.
Made a little sock monkey for my stepson and a stuffed heart for my bedroom from the off cuts from my curtains.

I have been pouring through my Sew Pretty Homestyle book this weekend and wondered, what type of material are you guys using for the angels/animals? It looks to be a thick linen type of stuff?

Hi Kandi, I made my hall curtains from a single duvet and had no heading tape so was going to order some from ebay after town but managed to get 15 metres from a charity shop for £1.47. It is just what I wanted 1''and a cream colour, so perfect :)
I can now finish them :). I now have a pair of curtains that cost £2.47.

It is always worth a rummage in the boxes of bit you never know what you can find. :D

Hart - thats a brilliant price! Bet you were delighted with that. I did have a rummage yesterday and got loads of ribbons at 10p a go and I got a load of lovely off cuts of fabric last week so I shouldn't complain.

Here is my stuffed heart, I made this from the off cuts from my curtains and im planning to hang it on my bedpost, will match the beddings and curtains (if I ever finish them!)
