Love those gingerbread men, great idea. Where do people get their ideas from??? This thread alone has some amazing things on it that are great for inspiration.

The fabrtic on the windows of the doorstop (I think there is a bigger pic on my blog somewhere from when I first made it) is Cath Kidston Prairie rose I think its called. I used to buy half a metre of duck each time I visited a CK shop:D I've used it mainly for patchwork.

    Still cant post any photos...tut:mad:
  • meggielo When I joined, it was a month before I could post any photos... Don't know if this is because I hit my required number of posts or if that is how long you have to wait. I ended up setting up a blog just so that I could display my makes.

It is rather annoying isn't it!

Maybe that's it then. I will keep trying every couple of days anyway LOL. I have things on my blog but really don't want to post the bookmarks and embroidered patchwork squares as I want them to be a surprise for my Mum and my friend. They both read my blog reguarly so I know they will see them.

One thing that is baffling m on this forum....what are the thankyou's all about? I can't quite make it out.

I thank the end post so that next time I click on the link on my e-mail it takes me to the last post I looked at. If I thanked everybody I would be here all day! Not that I'm not grateful for everyone's posts - they are very helpful and it's lovely to see all the makes. I really must get on and do some more sewing.:o

I just received an email from the homeschool site, and thought that this link could be of an interest.

You just have to dodge the adverts. Mostly the words that are underlined and highlighted in a different colour!! But its a good start when the ideas start to run dry!
