Avstar, the Great Drapo is fantastic!
It's great for those of us who are too scared to cut into fabric to make dresses!0 -
I ordered some fabric yesterday in the CK sale as it was 75% off. Some of the fabrics I wanted - were sold out. :mad:Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I love that Gread Drapo! brilliant stuff! I would be scared to wear it though, what happens when you want to go to the loo? Ever me.
Time for me to get sewing my lavender has arrived. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Susan, nice to see you over here at last and glad you got the machine threaded up ok xx
No sewing for me today, I have been out and about with OH as he is off work for a couple of weeks. The sewing will have to go on hold until I get a day to myself.0 -

also try threading the opposite end of the thread- it has something to do with the direction that the reel is wound.
Can also work when machine sewing - if having problems with top thread, try turning reel up otherway round.
Also, you can buy wax that you run your thread through when handsewing.0 -

It's best to thread the needle with the end of the thread which leads off the reel - I was told that by an ex-needlework teacher who I meet at Embroiderer's Guild.0 -
