The Great Declutter Part 2

We finally had the bin men round on Friday. They've not been for ages. I had all of my recycling sorted and ready to put in the car but saw the recycling lorry so I just took the plastic bottles and the cardboard. I put out the tins, glass and clothing (6 black sacks worth). I got home from work yesterday morning and they've not flaming well taken it. And it's been raining since then. How cheesed off am I? Now I have to bring in wet rubbish that was nice and dry that I was all prepared to cram into the car but left because it was easier for them to take.

Room for one more?
I've been trying to declutter since we took xmas decs down and its all getting a bit much now. I dont seem to be getting anywhere, even though i'm getting rid of mountains of stuff:rolleyes: My aim is to have all my decluttering done by end of March, i'm due my second bubs in April so would be nice to have it all done before then.
Right over the last 2 weeks i've.......
IN- Xmas bargains, presents, cards etc now stashed under my bed
- food shopping
- clothes for ds(3) and new bubs
- baby toiletries - all stored away and were either free or v cheap
- 8 black bags of rubbish, broken toys, bits of nothing i seem to have everywhere
, old shelves totally wrecked
- a mountain of recycling, xmas paper, packaging for toys:mad: - why so much!!!
- charity x2 bags of clothes, toys, usable furniture
next week i plan to tackle the dining room as we're getting a new storage unit to replace the wrecked one. Hopefully once we have that our dining room will look a million times better, proving we dont fill it with clutter again:o, and if i have the energy i want to tackle my wardrobe too. I attempted this a while ago but i wasnt ruthless enough and now i've had enough. Might be because i'm preggers and cant fit in to most of my clothes but there really is no need for the amount of jeans and t-shirts i have:rolleyes:.£387.39/£196.46

debidoodle & loopychriss - thanks so much for washing-machine tips. It's made me feel that all is not lost ... I'll check the filter first (not sure where it is, but have the instruction manual for machine so hopefully I can find it) then if no luck will call up a washing machine person - got a couple of numbers from friends yesterday for recommended repair men.
I had planned some decluttering today but still haven't got to the bottom of the tidying... will press on & "report back" later...Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
