    In only food today

Out managed to find the floor in DS2's room today!!! So all sorts of rubbish from the floor...

Finally took 3 bags of non clothing stuff to charity shop - that nobody on freecycle wanted :( - think they only want fridges and TV's these days!

Big bag of clothes went to charity collection yesterday too.

    Getting there slowly :)

Been AWOL a bit lately but working hard so not really had much time to do anything.

2 more weeks of work and I'm a lady of leisure :j so there will be lots of decluttering then !

We've been in the loft today (I had to find my old tax return as IR sent me a letter saying I have to file a return even though I've not been self employed for 4 years  - they keep telling me I don't have to do a return but then send me reminders and threaten me with the £100 fine ). It didn't take long but a bit of a hassle. Anyway, turned a negative into a positive and got down our old bike leathers and will be listing them on Ebay tomorrow - 1 box of clutter gone from the loft :T. There was also some old paperwork up there that will be set alight tomorrow - 2 boxes of clutter gone from the loft :D. An old teaset was found lurking at the back so that's box number 3. Only about 20 more to go :p.

Nothing 'in' today other than a bit of post but duly dealt with and filed where appropriate.

Enjoy your evening guys n gals

In = clothes, so immediately started sorting out the equivalent numbers of clothes to go. Just need to find a casual top and a jacket/coat that need to go. Its a strict one in, one goes basis! So I've not counted these towards my target, as stuff had come in. Firm but fair.:p

Today I used up and got rid of:
    - 3 toiletries: body lotion, shampoo, eye drops (recycled packaging)
    - 2 bare essentials brushes (charity)

So 5 things gone. Hurrah! Am behind on my target to getting rid of 300 things. But have got rid of nearly 150 things so far this month! Not running out of things to get rid of, running out of energy! I have 3 bags of stuff to get rid of in bedroom/spare room.

Hey loopychriss, I know what you mean, as I dont count every single thing as an item gone either. So a batch of papers counts as one item that sort of thing. Pushes us that bit harder eh.

Good to see so many being able to donate stuff to people who need it.

Well done to the person who posted their pics above. Great after shot too.

Decluttering going well. I really need to be honest about the stuff I need to keep: I've got loads of DVDs taking up a lot of space. I will sort out the ones to keep and put the rest on Freecycle. I found some cassettes:rotfl: :rotfl: Haven't had a cassette player for years.

My latest fetish is usb cables. Why? I don't know. The only appliance I have that required a usb cable is a printer.:rotfl::rotfl:
    I went away and now I'm back.:j:j
