Morning all!
IN: Nothing so far, unless you count the sense of abject panic upon not being able to find my passport (got it now!)
OUT: Approximately 1.5 kg of printed papers from junk pile beside display cabinet.
Looking for my passport really brought home to me how much junk I have an how much I NEED to get organized. Off out now but will come home and BLITZ the place (might have to buy a new shredder though! Not managed to do cupboard as planned as I got a phone call from Estate agent saying they had two people wanting to view my house :j - went into major panic mode as not had anyone to view for almost a year so have let things slip slightly
at least all this decluttering has made it more presentable, so have done a bit of tidying and plan a big cleaning session in the morning before the first one gets here - wish me luck!
Back on topic - have sold a dehumidifier this morning via gumtree for £30 - so that's one less thing to tidy up. we'd agreed £30 on the phone, then when he got here he offered me £25 which I accepted. unfortunatley, he didn't have a fiver, and neither did Iso he gave me the full £30
I'm back to work on Monday so not sure how much I'll get done from then, but this week has been an amazing start!GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

Good luck with the viewing Spendaholic. Good job you have made a start with the decluttering.
Listed more stuff on Ebay, so fingers crossed. Went through one of the food cupboards in the kitchen and threw away some staff that was past its best before date. I know, it would probably have been fine, but too late now. Went to the tip with some bags out of my grey bin, next week it will be 4 weeks since it was emptied
Off to take the dog out now, but will do some more sorting laterYou're only young once, but you can be immature forever0 -
Last night stuff on both sets of stairs put back wear it should be!
I've explained to my OH, who keeps saying we need to buy some more bookcases, that we need to sort first to make sure things are in the right place, then we can check we need all the stuff we're keeping and then buy new storage based on the amount of stuff we have - plus a little surplus first - so might get him into the decluttering frame of mind eventually.
