The Great Declutter Part 2
Comments
-
All set for an early sunday morning - over 100 items to go to the CB (hopefully off set the 3 necklaces from the charity shop today (3 for a £5) only one for me though, 2 for presents.
Although I tend to think of myself as having a modest wardrobe I still managed to put 15 things in the box! Have slightly suffered from the "but what if I need it" mentality for things like interview clothes (which I will be needing at somepoint after september!) Alot of wardrobe is taken up with work clothes (uniform and old t-shirts etc). Nice/going out/formal clothes are actually quite slimmed down and are all mix and matchable *sigh-breath-cuppa*
50 books! A whole paste table worth ! And still that on my shelves but they're all beloved and useful now

It's great reading about all your successes - loads of clutter being emptied out at a fast rate.
Mine is slow but very pleasing progress is being made. I am looking forward to actually being able to see the difference in the room.
Five more things have gone from the paperwork pile so August total is now 19/50 and one general item, total 2/50.
I am hoping a friend will come over this week to help me finish the shed clearout that we started a few weeks ago. I will then be able to move a few things out of my house which will make it feel more spacious and much tidier.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -
More spacious and much tidier.... yep, thats the goal! I've had a sudden urge to declutter more books - of course, the new house is slightly smaller, so once I'm there, I won't be able to tell, but still, I'll *know*
, as my sister said yesterday. So:
59. 11 non fiction books to the charity shop.
60. 6 fiction books to the charity shop.

I've got a lot of stuff belonging to my cousin that I really need to list on Ebay but I just can't seem to get motivated. It's all quite bulky - child car seats, travel cot, prams & I know it'll make a big difference to get it out of the house (not least of all because I feel guilty that I've had it for ages). I am going to set myself a target to at least list it within the next fortnight.Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.
