Also found 1 mobile phone/no charger. I think it still works - what shall I do with that?

If you don't want it, recycle it for points or cash. Boots give points, I don't know about the cash sites, as I've not used them but there's some advertised on TV.

If you do want to use it you can get chargers on Ebay or at a local market quite cheaply.

    Hi everyone,
Can I join in with this one please? My house is messy and cluttered atm. I need to have a good sort out. There's something very refreshing about having a real clearout! Only problem is I struggle to let go of things. I guess I just need to be strict with myself! Wish me luck
    Love,

Thanks - I`ll keep it for a while and see whether the charger turns up during my decluttering. I could do with a spare phone.

    Today was quiet:-

    Out
    • Mint plant ~ it started to have “friends” round to stay so had to go!!
    • Old yeast tins (recycling) ~ yeast in bin as my last loaf turned out to be a brick :rotfl:
    • Sorted yesterday and todays post and recycled in straight away

    In

    • Easter eggs for the kids
    • 8 nectarines for 80p for nectarine crumble
    • Long wooden skewers
    • Stocking filler for DD
    • Pocketed A4 wallet for eBay postage receipts to keep me organised this year!
    • Plant for my Mum for Sunday (but will be out by Sunday)

Not much else as I was working today. But tomorrow is a day off, so I’m hoping to get a lot more done. I’m hoping to find a few bits for DS1 as he’s off to uni in September and he’ll need EVERYTHING!!

Does he ever do any of his own tidying? I find my DH moans most about our so called clutter but never actually does anything about it. That's all down to me and apparently it's all my stuff. Men!
He'll do the washing up and a bit of cooking, but that's about it. My kitchen table is under a sea of his paints and models (he paints them for other people) and there are boxes under and around the side of it. There's barely enough space to put a cup of tea down for him!!

Sorted bank statements into file, recycled 2 carrier bags of empty envelopes and burnt 2 carrier bags of sensitive info. Found a £1 Tesco voucher, 2 unused stamps and 2 things for th'ebay. 4 down 5 to go....

If I have the energy on day off tomorrow will make a start Under The Stairs!!! This is so DansDad guitar magazines will have somewhere to live until the next declutter!!! Gosh it feels good :D:D:D

Quick post to say I used Freecycle for the first time today - Within an hour I got rid of an old high chair to a nice man who'd just had an "unexpected" 5th child - even got to see a picture of the baby. I'm very excited -:j and wanted to share this with people who I knew would "get it".
