Hi, as part of my house move yesterday I got rid of
20 boxes of books (cs)
general kitchen bric a brac (cs)
today I posted an old portable TV that I sold on ebay (very pleased with the price too, my husband said it was worthless and it sold for £42 so it just goes to show)
Pending for tomorrow to the charity shop is
DD's old pram
tea set
framed poster
3 boxed of general bric a brac
dumbells
It will be a relief to get these things out the house as everything that is left will be going to storage.
I am off to defrost the freezer now and clean out with Bicarbonate of soda ready for storage.
Hope you all have a lovely day, apardion0 -
:hello: I know it's a bit late in the year, but could I join the coven please?! My house is in such a state all the time and it's beginning to really get on my nerves. Does anyone else find they're the only ones who seem to do any housework??
The wake up call came when my Dad gave us a mini camcorder and my DS2 went around the house filming and commentating saying things like "and this is our hall, clutter clutter" "this is the messy bathroom" "this is the worst room" (his and DD's bedroom) where he promptly fell over and said "see what I mean?!" Very funny but very embarrassing.
We have lived in this house for 6 years and still have unopened boxes in the bedrooms and attic. And don't get me started on the understairs cupboard!!! :rotfl:
I'm going to have a read over the pages and then come back with an action plan. I may not be able to post every day, but I'll try for a weekly update.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £82,340.34 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £155 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £161.29 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £964.62 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0 -

Decluttering the top of the desk makes an awful lot of difference - people who haven't seen the room in a while *know* something is different, but not what, till I tell them.
EDIT - and I love the numbering system, btw!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Hi all, is it ok if i join in?
I have been inspired to get on and get things sorted out.
I have decluttered my cupboard under the sink and dumped aload of old magazines, almost a full binbag of all of it!
I can feel the clear, decluttered house coming on...a long way to go but slow and sure!Love is all around! :rotfl:
