    Good morning all!!
Hope you're all good. Had a nice surprise this morning when I checked what my ebay bits had finished on, and an old suit that I'd had in the back of the wardrobe has sold for £30. The more unpleaseant surprise is that I have bronchitis and sinusitis. So I didn't manage a NSD yesterday as I went a bought painkillers etc at work.
Sold another 3 tops as well, ironed another load of stuff to be photographed and put on ebay. Am aiming to make at least £100 on ebay by end of the month.

While DD was sleeping I started going through my clothes. :D So far have I bag for clothes recycling, material to recycle into other things and 1/2 bag for ebay/charity shop. Have decided that if I haven't used material for other things within 6 months then it's all going too.

Hope to finish my clothes and start on DDs later on.....

    Hey all,

    So far I have:

-Sold one duplicate Christmas pressie (book) on Amazon
-Read a second Christmas pressie book and this is listed on Amazon
-Read another Christmas pressie book and put it in bag of stuff set for charity shop tomorrow (not worth anything on Amazon)
-Half way through 4th book, this is going to friend when finished and then to charity shop

    4 down, another 400 to go :D:D

Started having a sort of my books and ended up starting to read them instead :o I guess it means I'm using instead of losing though.

Also have to confess to having bought a book the other day and got home to find I already have a copy of it, so listed it in greenmet but considering taking it back to see if I can get a refund (although it only cost me £1 so if I sell it I'm actually in profit...).
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Hi. I've just read all these posts thinking "that's me! That's me!". I so need to be in this challenge. I too am hoping to move soon and I have already started decluttering and ebaying. I do like to keep books and dvds that I have particularly enjoyed but the rest go to friends, family or charity. Trouble is, is enjoy most books so I like to keep them! I've signed up to a few other challenges so I won't be buying clothes or toiletries. This challenge will make me not buy anything I don't actually need, for example the snowglobe from M&S yesterday, reduced to only £1! But it's more clutter! Cute though!

Anyway, I also make my own jewellery but my resolution is not to buy any more beads until I have used most of mine up.

So, no clothes, toiletries, more clutter and I'm starting my diet so I should be spending less on food! Pity all the savings have to Barclaycard!

Actually, I've been going around my flat, instead of berating myself for buying all the stuff, I'm really pleased as I will now not need to buy anything for ages. And if I can lose half a stone I will also have loads of new clothes from inside my wardrobe!

Good luck and happy decluttering everybody!

Hi all please can you add me in for this challenge. I've accumulated millions of pots of moisturiser over the last year due to xmas and bday. I have an alergic reaction to most of them so am going to put them on ebay.

With this use it or lose it(sell it) challenge im going to set mysefl a mini target to pay off what i owe to southern electric in say 4 months that is while still making our regular monthly payments. Ebay is not going to know what has hit it when i work out how to use the turbo lister i downloaded!!!!

Keep up the good work guys.

Ps gotta wait til hubby is out as he thinks im a bit mad and might ebay everything. I told him that i wouldn't cos i couldnt get money for him and the cats (who never seem to do what you tell them to!!) so not everything would be on ebay!
