I've only just found this thread but will definitely join in.
I won loads of bath and beauty stuff last year so other than facial wash and sanitary protection, I don't envisage needing to buy anything else; I have loads of shower gel, soap, body butter, face cream etc.
I also plan to read all the books I've got already before buying more, and I already do attempt to sell them via www.greenmetropolis.com so far selling 3 this January; been on there almost a year now and sold about 30 books.
There are some exceptions. I am a mystery shopper and if asked to visit the Body Shop as I have done twice last year, of course it means I shall make a purchase. I also review books for Amazon Vine so again, if offered them, I will take them.0 -

Hiya. Can I join too please? My house is full of clutter
I'm going to try and do a little bit of tidying / binning each day. I've already sorted a few bags of old clothes, books etc for the charity shop but they've been sitting in the house for ages and haven't got around to taking them to the charity shop yet
I managed to throw away a few old bits of make up today :j Also I've decided I'm only going to buy toiletries / makeup / perfume if I really need it. I've got a box full of toiletries that I've never used yet. I was given loads of perfume and bath stuff for xmas and I also manage to win toiletries quite regularly so I don't really need to buy anything else.
Hopefully joining this challenge will keep me motivated and help me save a few quid! Good luck everyone! :beer:2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher0 -

Me too :j It's shocking how fast the stuff builds up isn't it?! I think any bath / beauty stuff I win this year is going to be kept for xmas and birthday pressies. I might even have a go at making up some mini hampers.2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher0 -

On the use it side I've continued to make an effort to read my books and listen to my dvds.
I've stopped buying new toiletries unless I've run out for a while now. The problem is I've got more for Christmas and I'm not very good at using them. I'm going to steal an idea Missymoo posted in her diary- I'm going to sort out stuff for a daily routine and put it in one basket and try and get into the habit of using it every day. I'm then going to sort out a basket of things like body lotions, scrubs, hair masques etc and make sure I have a pamper session every weekend when I use at least 1 of these products. In keeping with this challenge after a few months I will assess how things are going and decide if there is anything I should lose.
I'm holding off much of my decluttering as will be moving in with OH this year and we need to assess what to lose once everything is together. I did quite a lot over the Summer though.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
i will join u too i have already started the ebay challeng and have things already on sale.
i have too many things lying round the house, new stuff that i keep deceiving myself would come handy for people's birthdays yet i still go down to the shop to buy stuff when the time comes.
i have a lot of books that i no longer need i strated by sell some last year i would let go more this year too. as for clothes my ward robe is full and no space for extras but i have decided that any clothes i have not worn for 3months would have to go too, declutter, declutter, declutter and not buy more.0
