I'm reading a great book at the moment, one from a massive pile. Eat, pray and love, all about getting rid of the materialistic things and being a lot happier. Coincidence? Maybe not.

Isn't the film of this coming out soon? Sounds good.

Right, today 2 concealers, a raggy cardie, a bubble bath and a dented suitcase have bitten the dust! :j

Ooh, I want to read that too. One of my friends lives out in Bali and I think one of the sections is set there (Love?) He really recomended it to me and I've been keeping my eye open for it.

If you list it on Green Met or Amazon let me know (or if you fancy a swap, I can always send my list of books to get rid of!)

Of course this might be a keeper book....

Hi makeup, will happily do a swap. Just finishing the India section, then got Bali and i'm done. Been an unusual read but a good one. I always think it does you good to read something that you wouldn't normally read. Didn't know about the film though...
Aiming for a NSD today. Package a load of bits up for posting that have gone on ebay, even my husband noticed that the wardrobe had more room in it. Working today, but got 2 days off from tonight so hopefully will get more on ebay and amazon then.
Have a fab day everyone x

Blimey, this has slipped down the pages a bit. I've used up a moisturiser and sold a few more bits on ebay and amazon. My OH has actually notices that the house is starting to look tidier, and I'm making an effort to keep on top of things. Almost finished another book, and generally trying to pay cash for things instead of using my credit card. Anyone else?

  • I binned an ancient tube of sun cream and used up a shower gel. Also finished a book but haven't got rid of it yet. I need to get listing on Amazon but have a lot on my plate this week. Ok, my goal is to list a pile of about 6 old uni books by tomorow.

    How's everyone else doing?

I've gone back to a book that I started but never finished; though I've decided if I'm not really excited about it in 75 pages time it's going on BookMooch!

  • We are noticing a huge difference we have sold loads on ebay, and taken loads to the tip. This weekend I am doing a carboot if its dry for all the other bits and bobs we have. I listed lots of books on green metropolis but none have sold so I may take them carboot and see what happpens.

I'm doing ok, I'm into week 3 of 8 for my glycolic peel, not too sure it's working that much but anything makes a difference. I'm also using a hydrating masque from No.7 as well. Plus started using night cream so I'm hoping to make a serious dent in my toiletries.

I've also started a reading a book I bought from one of those sales at the library ages ago.

And finally watched a DVD that I got ages ago.

I'm at home all weekend so will be working my way through more cleaning and tidying and hopefully use up a foot spa thing that I've got and has been around for ages. It's like a foot soak and then an exfoliator thing.

Also using up some old packets and things from the store cupboard.

Also got the email about free listing on Ebay on Sunday so I'll try and get some stuff up then.

Am almost ashamed to say I've made no progress whatsoever but then equally I haven't bought anything lately either which is pretty good going given I generally buy two or three books a week.

Also used up some bits of old shampoos and conditioners.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

  • Hiya,
I've made some progress, almost halfway through the book and its getting good but my time has been spent packaging up ebay items. Got loads sold on ebay and am going to sort more stuff out tomorrow and saturday to list on Sunday. Making good progress with bath stuff used another tub of moisturiser (I have the bad habit of using about half of it or almost all of it then going on to the next one!!!)

Keep up the good work everyone!
