  • Hi, not put anything on ebay again and not going to today as got to be at work at half six, so enjoying putting feet up for a bit (between cooking hubbys tea, me and 3 children had ours!).

Have cleaned out cupboard in dining room, which also in turn, sorted out cupboard in lounge (one half now completely empty!), as put all family games from there into dining room one, seemed to make sense, seems as though thats the room we play them in mostly!

Thinking of putting blankets into new space in cupboard so they are handy when we fancy a snuggle a night and can easily be put away!

All redundant childrens books have been put into two piles, ones like new, probably never even been opened into recycling present pile, and the other pile to be donated to boys school library, they WILL be taken tomorrow.

Do feel as though house is slowly becoming cleaner and more organised. Would probably help if i just stuck to one room at a time, but i get bored and flitt around, mmmm if i do two drawers in lounge i will be able to declare one room finished!! just might be the added inspiration i need!!

    Hi all,
although I'm not new to 'St' Martin's teachings, I haven't yet been involved in any forums.
I'd love to join in - just not sure how.
I've been e-baying for a few years the only weakness is if you spend your profits instead of banking them!!
My challenge is not to buy but to save my 'earnings' and pay off my overdraft.
I'm also going to use up all my lotions and potions- a real weakness!! any restrict to the bare essentials.
I found an article which lists what you actually need to be beautiful so here goes...

  • Got rid of a book and a catalogue today. Not much, but I'm noticing my bookshelves and bathroom shelves are looking neater!
  • Morning dears.

Books have gone to school, just off to tidy up dining room in a bit, (guys just come in off farm for breakfast, so always wait for them to go back out first) then put some more stuff on.

Got 10 items finishing today, let you all know how we go on!

  • Hi, made £35 on ebay items, only 3 didn't sell, so going relist them and if they don't sell, they will go in charity pile.

Also, been really organised and made a spreadsheet stating, price sold for, postage quoted, actual postage, ebay costs and total profit.

This way, when i come to buy a sofa bed with my earnings,if hubby or anyone else has been using monies from paypal, i have proof of my recylcable money!

Hubby now knows i mean business!! ha ha ha!

Hi all, day off today so e-bay listing day and have 2nd charity bag since Christmas to fill.
I have no problem donating to Charities but can anyone tell me who benefits from the 'charities' who only post a letter through your door?
    Happy saving x

Posted off a book I sold through greenmet and have listed another four this afternoon, as well as ditching 9 sets of old earphones....

  • 9 sets?? Do you run a call centre or something? :p Well done anyway!

Finished up: 1 protect and perfect serum, 1 conditioner, 1 body butter, 1 pack of baby wipes and got rid of another 2 books. This really is an inspirational thread!

No I just seem to end up buying a new set everytime I go on holiday because I forget them. :o
But as I only need two sets at most I decided to get rid of the rest, so I now have the new ones I bought today (a mystery shop requiring a purchase) for carrying around with my netbook which can also be used with my phone, and the overhead style ones I use with my mp3 when I go out running.
