Are you sure amazon need a cc to sell? I didnt have one when I started selling on there and haven't registered one since I got one. Otherwise though theres greenmetropolis too, books go for a set price and sales are quite slow usually but I like it.

It's a fanstastic surprise to come back on here and see so many people have joined. Apologies for being away, I lost my motivation for a lot of things, but have found it again now so normal service is resumed.
Have had a mad day around the house today, clearing bits for charity and ebay. Got some ebay bits finishing later tonight, really starting to notice more room in the house now.
Thanks again to everyone that's joined.

Just subscribed after lurking for a bit. Finding actually contributing to threads is really making a difference to OH and me thinking really hard about every spend..still spending a lot, too much but its much more considered if you know what I mean.

Need to buy a pressie for a friend's birthday (and will set a budget for that and already using outfit for her party that have worn many times so kinda MSE!) and go to the hairdressers (I look like a badger) ..BUT free contact lens trial with a voucher and no other spending plans this weekend..yippee. Glass of wine and some more Wire episodes for me now (after the kids are in bed!)

Hi me again! where is everyone today?

Motivated by this wonderful thread i have just placed another 10 items and now have six bids!!

However, struggling with recipe books!! Obviously with charity beginning at home would like to make some money before chartiying things. Books on ebay don't seem to be selling, tried amazon, but you need a credit card to sell, which haven't got nor intend to!!

Is there any other way of selling books, that don't require a credit card or standing at a stall for hours (no good at car boots, always bring more back)?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, or they will be added to charity pile.

Thanks yet again for a wonderful thread.

Just wondered if you go out to work/have an office or something how about putting up a nice poster or send out an email (if your work allows that sort of thing) - if they are in good condition you might get some takers and even a bit is better than nothing. Plus no listing fees or postage!

Another book down, think I'm going to try this one on green metropolis for a month or so before I bookmooch it :) and why does facemask take so long to use up! One thing I have done is taken 99% of my smellies out of their boxes (all the box sets I got for Chrimble) and put them in the bathroom so I don't forget about them :)

Funny this should have started as I said to my hubby that February was "using things up month" and he said that we needed to declutter and put stuff on ebay (which we have never done before).
I am busy writing menus to use up the contents of the freezer and also have two drawers of shower gel etc to use up.
We are having our bedroom refitted at the moment so can't get to anything to sell for a couple of weeks.
When I put the stuff back in the wardrobes that will be time for a really good clear out and a trip or two to the charity shop.
Really looking forward to it all - how sad!!

Morning, I use a debit card to sell on Amazon, not a credit card, have you tried that?
