Can I join? Haven't posted in a while but have already started to de-junk and have made a conscious decision to use what I have before buying more.
I have my wedding dress to sell on - however, I still haven't had it cleaned - do you think I should get it cleaned or offer it uncleaned??? And apart from Ebay (cost me £7 on a free listing day to list and it STILL didn't sell), any ideas where I could sell it?0 -

I also have a garage full of stuff, and i have no idea what is lurking in the wardrobes
I will de clutter my life this year, and as we are looking to rent a smaller/cheaper house in July this will be a good start to raising money for the moving feesStop trying to keep up with the Jones, as they're trying to keep up with the Smith's0 -
What a good thread, I will definately join in the no toiletries club, i have 3 drawers full and a bathroom cabinet! Unfortunately I lived in 3 places in 2009, so I do know what I own, but I'm sure I can manage another ebay/amazon push. Good luck everyone!:money:0

Thanks to everyone for joining in, it's so nice to know that I'm not doing this on my own! I'm hoping doing this will also help create quite a few NSDs for me, as I could definitely use a few of those.
I got so many lovely books and smelly sets for Christmas, but I'm trying to be good and either read or use up some of my oldest bits first.
Anyone else want to join?LBM 27/12/14.

I'll join too, if thats okay?
Ive also got the toiletries problem (is this a problem everyone has??) and will use them before I buy any more. Of course the shelf got even fuller over Xmas, so even more to get through now!
Ive also got the NEXT vouchers from Xmas, but am keeping them for new bedding in the spring. DEFINATELY no wasting them on clothes in the sale that none of us will wear!
I will also try to start a pile for EBAY - Ive got loads of things which have never been used that probably never will be!
Good Luck everyone xSealed Pot no 20110 -
I think this is a great idea and I'd love to join in!

I vow to use my toiletries up before I raid Lush again too! I started out vowing to read all my unread books before I buy any more this year but I had a bit of a fail moment on that! However, I will renew this vow; along with another one. I will pay my fine off and start using the library again when I fancy something a bit different (in fact, I'm doing this online now
) I will also stop buying clothes until I need them...so far I shouldn't need any for an age as I just bought the one thing missing from my wardrobe- a waterproof jacket!
Another one though- I will not buy a whole album when I only like one track! I'll either borrow it or just download one song from itunes!
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time0 -
I'm with you. Have already started and done tons of decluttering this year.
Will continue to not buy new books, cds and dvds. I'll only buy to only replace toiletries, cleaners, clothes and shoes.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
