you've done really well to op by £500 this close to christmas.I hope you don't have to wait too long for bubs to arrive. And i'm not surprised you are a little apprehensive. Not like waiting for a gooey choc cake to cook is it? :rotfl: I am sure it will be quick and less bother than you are imagining, as these things often are.0

well done on the big overpayment. Everyone has a totally different labour story to tell and those with the worst stories to tell are often the most vocal! Yes it is painful but you get through it and have the most wonderful reward. Try and keep active and get baby in good position. You will be fine and can't wait for your big announcement xJune 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

Another mortgage payment has been made and £549 has come off the capital.
Am trying to gather up another £500 to make an overpayment on the BTL mortgage in December. Renewed house insurance today and saved £40 on last years quote :j....so only another £460 to find!Credit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -
Baby boy finally arrived 11 days after due date
and thankfully we are both well...am finding i have to be super organised as DD2 is not even 2 yet and still requires so much of my time.
The grocery bill has went up the left as we have just been buying things as we need them and have mostly been having ready prepared stuff..hopefully after christmas we will be settle into a better routine.
The £500 that i paid off the BTL mortgage has knocked £4.75 off the monthly payment...am so pleased that it has reduced this much and cant wait to make another £500 payment
Also OH contacted sky about reducing/stopping our package and they have offered us 6 months half price to stay with them...this is a saving of £150 over the six months :j:j
Have a good weekend everyone...looking forward to the x factor tomorrow night....i can finally have a couple of glasses of wine for the first time in nine months...yeehaa. XoCredit card £4461.15Home mortgage £137117Buy to let mortgage £83,0000 -

congrats a boy after 2 girls what a lovely balance. :T
My btl has always been on repayment I don't 'get' interest only.
Although when calculating tax you only get tax relief on the interest not repayment bit so have to be careful with that -OPs so far £42,139

Congratulations to you and yours on the safe arrival of your newest little one. It will be interesting for a while with the close age gap, I've found, but i don't think i would change it for the world with mine.
Boys are wonderful. Enjoy every precious minute. Look forward to hearing more. xx0
