PenPen - I was soooo confused this morning trying to read through the posts then I noticed you had deleted stuff! Thought I was going doolally for a while! Have fun with the ameerican friends

TOOTS TOOTS - I HAVE NO IRONING OR WASHING!!!!!!! Can it count now for no ironing at New Year?

Cold and damp here. Already done a load of washing and drying and have as mentioned above done the ironing too. S?S the kitchen - took all of five minutes after the marathon cleaning in there yesterday. Need to shower and get dressed soon as it's my dad's b'day today and I haven't got him anything yet!! It's the same every year, I really should try harder!

    Morning all!

Sorry to hear things are bad LadyL - was going to suggest the Gunwharf meet-up on Saturday 2nd January, but if you're not up for it at the moment, we can make it later on in the year. Hope you're feeling better in yourself soon.

Congratulations polkadot on your pregnancy - keeping my fingers crossed for you that you have a happy and healthy pregnancy this time. The power of the flyladies really does work.

Hello to nicki - nice to see you back with us again honey.

Tilli-Tot and Poppytime hugs for you both.

Have done a bit of flying this morning - put some of the clean washing away and OH has put a load of washing in the WM. We've just had someone round to give a quote for a new central heating system, so hopefully the price will be right and we'll be able to get new radiators etc done in the near future - may mean I won't have to sit here with the radiators on and a coat on. My Mum always complains about how cold the house is. OH has just broken the news that we'll be without water for 2 days though, so I've told him that he should try and arrange it so that I'm at school so I can still use the loo during the day.

Off to dry my hair now with my new hairdryer - had literally just got dressed when the plumber arrived, and he's only just gone.

Then, I'll be finding the lists to do some HHCs.

Tag when are we going to see more pics of your newest furballs?

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Soappie - Great news on the book – Congratulations. Have an online friend that has had a book published and could ask him some questions when I next speak to him if it would be of any help – he is in Australia though so don’t know if that would make any difference

If you could that would be terrific :A

And hi Polkadot - and congrats - hope everything goes well for you

Just going to declutter another cup of tea and then get on with the writing.... and some flying

  • Evening my lovelies – sorry I’ve been MIA! Hope you all had a fantastic xmas (and Rose that you had a peaceful and enjoyable rest period with DH). I’m trying to play catch up on the thread (only at page 18 at the mo) so I gather plenty of hugs and coping vibes plus stay sane against the KH’s are due to many.
We did thanks, it was lovely and thanks for thinking of us, you are very sweet :A

It seems as if there are lots of people here who want to lose weight, so we'll have to think about how we do it. I know there are lots of people who will provide support/advice/encouragement, but does anyone have the time/energy/skills to keep records to assist with nagging?:D

I thought maybe we could have a target weight loss each (not weight, just how much people want to lose and by when), then a weekly exercise target (steps, gym sessions, cycling/running miles, swimming lengths etc) and a weekly weight-loss target. One person could collect the targets and results each week and publish a table showing how people are doing - just whether they are behind target (red) on target (orange) or ahead (green) on both weight-loss and exercise! What does anyone else think?
I think this is a brilliant idea, it will definitely help me if we have the traffic light system

Hugss Diva, I hope your hip is ok and you had a nice time with R

Poppy I hope you had a better night’s sleep last night, please try to eat at least three times a day as it will help you to feel better. When you don't look after yourself physically it makes everything feel worse emotionally xx

Poohbear how great you found the chip for DS’s car!

Dora I hope you are ok after your fall yesterday

Soappie yaaaaaaaaayyy about the book! You will be the second distinguished author that I know!

1 Step well done on the bankruptcy and the weight loss!

    Pigpen are you alright?

Cally I hope you are feeling better today

    Welcome Welsh Poppy

    Polkadot congratulations

Lady Liberty love you lots and I hope things get better with your OH xx

DH has gone to Manchester today - a lad his dad knows is going to uni there and needs to move all his stuff up, so DH is taking it up in the van.

I've got to go to the PO, bank, and chemist, and then I'm going to do some flying! Yay!

Off to get dressed now and go into the village

    Hi All

Just jumping in to grab the list for today, will update later, gotta go out and brave the snow, we are getting blizzard like snow showers here and I got the dentist and the bank to go to today and am all snottery  as if the dentist isn't bad enough.

Hope you are all well, and hello to all the newbies and the one who has a wee bean in her tummy (Poppy? I think) congratulations (sorry just skimmed through the page)

We had the panto yesterday which was cheesy but fun as always and had a lovely meal after but due to my snotty beak, my taste disappeared just as the starter was served and it was pate which I havn't had in a long time due to it being very fatty so I was most upset lol. Take care, gotta fly, hugs to everyone :A
