embb thats a great deal on the freezer - you can get a dongle for DD that you do as pay as you go or contract and she would then be able to use it anywhere or if you have a wireless router she could be added to your network and save another internet broadband payment.

ajmoney hope they get the roads cleared around soon - its dreadful when peole outstay their welcome - worse when its family I think
vanilla (((hugs))) its very easy to get into debt at this time of the year honey but you are doing the right thing and dealig with it before it gets out of hand. Could you try to put something away for this coming Christmas evry week - even if just a few pounds it might help - or your loose change at the end of the week - yes it takes discipline to stick to budgets, meal plans etc but the rewards are worth it - I know you can do it (((hugs)))

Just exactly what toots said her posts usually save me from having to go through all the posts (unless I am being really nosey )

But I cannot for one keep up with the thread and fell as if this festive break have done nothing but cleaning and clearing out but I fell better for it and feel it will help me in the summer when I plan to spend more time outside with the kids

Had a night out last night and it was wonderful. MIL looked after the children and she said they behaved themselves. Hopefully she will want to do it again

I have decluttered my desk and organised my mini drawers and all the leftover christmas bits. DS is back to nursery tomorrow so I'll *hopefully* be able to take back my own routine.
Going to put him to bed right now, so will be back later to check for list.

2. Start on list of people to notify of house move
3. make squash and sweet potato soup
4. prune bushes between us and neighbour
5. arrange a window cleaner
6. Inspect DH's clear out of garage and see if I can clear more
7. sort out craft stuff and find a home for it all, text MIL and ask her to please stop buying the bleeding stuff!
8. Watch video of christmas day so I can write thank yous to people- half done
9. chase up next return for dhs shoes
10. book haircuts for us all
11. wash dining room curtains

OPTIONAL LIST FOR THE MASOCHISTS AMONG US!

1. Run appliances through a clean cycle.. degunk filters etc too not sure how to do this to dw, wm done already
2. Budget and meal plan for next month.. most of us will be a little strapped for cash. Slimming world style? Haven’t committed myself yet
3. Wash any grotty windows dining room
4. Make sure homework/ ready for school/ planning oh no don’t want to L
5. Call a friend/relative you've not seen in a while auntie jan
6. Empty out yours handbag of receipts etc

Or rather according to old firm fans the only teams in the league. The others are just there so they have something to beat and don't have to play each other every week.

Right, I've caught up but have no idea what I was going to say....

I'm going to check my work bag is set, put some clothes out for the morning, finish the lunches and pour a large glass of wine (the last for a while - my new years resolution is the same as grateful's - lose weight or get pregnant!)

I didn't bother wrapping up well to go and put the recycling mountain out for the 7am collections. Cue four trips. Realise the chickens have not had their door shut. Realise the chicken shed door is frozen in its tracks. Collect jug of hot water and patiently defrost the chickens. Collect stupid dog who escaped when I was putting the recycling out. Check in garage for missing kitten who has not been seen since being dramatically rescued from top of wisteria at lunchtime. No kitten. Hands now numb with cold. Walk back into house, do not bother wiping steamed up glasses. Stand on cat who has been asleep upside down in the middle of the corridoor all afternoon. Find savlon for resulting scratched leg. Regret getting rid of all wine. Answer phone to DH. Do I want a takeaway and a bottle of wine?
