Hi everybody. I'd like to be added as car has broken down and I'm stuck in house looking at all the christmas mess. It is generally even messier when husband and I are off work and kids are off school. Husband and one child out at moment so thought this could be a good time to start.

    Thanks

    :xmastree:

A tree for you LynneJ so that you get added. Toots will send you a welcome PM shortly.

I've just done another HHC in the kitchen - spent entirely on cleaning the oven :o OMG its filthy! Considering I hardly use it (I have a remoska now ;) ) I have no idea how its got so bad AND I've run out of the oven cleaner I was using so will look into getting another bottle of that before I tackle it again (I know I could go old style and make something up but last time even that didn't work so I'm going to stick with shop bought until I get it clean again)

Right, updatey list time, if its gone its done...

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area
    Level One
    Sweep and SCRUB the floor

    Level Three
Clean and wipe the table, replace the cloth if necessary
    Dust and deweb
Wipe over the units and large appliances
    Extras
    wash windows -
Scrub the sink and polish the taps
Scrub down any tiles that are looking icky
Wipe over all the small appliances

    Personal list :
Ironing - for the length of casualty. The rest can then wait until the next batch or programme ;)
Gifts to be put upstairs (mine to be put away)
Laundry - load 2 going in now..
    Budget
To-do lists by room (to be laminated when I go back to work - I have the sheets just no laminator!) - getting there slowly.
Inventory of food - freezer contents to go but there's loads of party food in there ATM so too tightly packed to shuffle stuff to see whats in there, will just take pot luck as I know there's chicken, fish, beef & sausage in there at least :o

Off to do the freeview recordings setting up (films for DD since she's away and lots of progs for me ;) ), and then I might set too on the ironing while I warm up as I can't feel my fingers on my left hand except numb/coldness

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area Done!!:D:D:D
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

Rather later in the day than usual, just could not get motivated. In the end, decided to sit and finish a book, take DD to work, have a strong coffee and then go for it! So, now it's done...

Just had a late lunch, then off to look at TK Maxx - I saw a leather tub chair in there just before Christmas, which would be great for the livingroom. We have two sofas, but there's five of us, and sometimes the teens want to sit somewhere other than the floor.

:hello:and welcome to all the newbies! Start with Level One, and add a declutter mission. Stop and admire what you've achieved. If you feel up to it, try another Level! Don't for a minute think we're all here because we have immaculate houses, or even like housework....

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!!

    In my HHC I

    Cleared drainer
    Washed more dishes
    Emptied and reloaded WM
    Emptied TD
    Draped clothes around rads
Fetched some stuff from the car

I'm sure I did more than that but I can't remember.

I'm going to put the dates on my calendar from the school newsletter then I can get rid of it.

Welcome yet more new people! My, it's lovely to have a full house!

    • Have decluttered the dog poop from the garden into the bin
    • Have scrubbed hands very thoroughly after decluttering said dog poop
    • Have decluttered some words from my head into orderly sentences on the 'puter
    • Have decluttered one very cheeky football supporter from the doorstep with a flea in his ear when he rang the bell to ask if he could park across my drive (effectively blocking me in for the duration). He did offer me a fiver mind which was quite tempting but not enough to overcome the principle.
    • Am about to declutter a cup of tea then wander up the shop to restock on booze so I can do a bit of Gordon decluttering this evening :D
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
