TAG how did DD like the kitties and did they wreck the place on christmas day?
    toots xx

    Hey Toots:hello:
She loves them and her face was a picture. They've really come out of their shells now and are getting up to mischief on an hourly basis:rolleyes: The tree has been climbed several times but isn't looking that bad considering.;)

I will sort out posting another piccy of them sometime this week. Should be better than the first one I did.:D

Toots, LO is good, thanks for asking. She loved all her presents, just need to find somewhere to put them all!

Hubby is back early from work so he will be tasked with taking the bins out as i'm not getting out my jammies today:p

    Huggles Valli

In my experience the kids make their own minds up when they're older. No matter what poison they've been fed. They see through it all in the end!;)

I've never said a bad thing about my first or second husband to 'their' respective children. And I refuse point blank to be drawn into a row or use the kids as a weapon. Being like that has diffused many a situation and spared the kids the 'tug of war' scenario.

Bit your tongue, fly like mad and I'm here if you want to rant!!;)

I totally agree, although its so difficult when you're getting all your buttons pressed by the ex. My ex just descended into a sea of spewing bitterness, he couldn't contain himself, unfortunately my girls had to listen to much of it when visiting but knew that they had a 'safe' ear to offload to when they came home.

I asked for no loyalty, there was no price to pay or conditions surrounding their contact with my ex, he on the other hand, became so distorted and demanding, my girls realised that he was unreasonable and unfair (putting it mildly) and it eventually overshadowed their desire to see him.

I never played the game of tit for tat, and much as I'd have liked to call him to the high heavens I was more hurt that someone would stoop so low as to do that to young, impressionable children who never chose the situation.

He got more and more inappropriate, about me, so much so, eventually my girls said they did not want to see him any more because of his drinking, his rages and his absolutely disgusting way of which he spoke about me and women in general. This was even though he was in a new relationship with another woman and had been living with her for a number of years.

Valli, whilst at the moment your kids are unsettled and emotionally wobbly, subconsciously they'll remember this and will probably be reluctant to go again, exactly because of all the disruption.

Keep strong, we're here hun. xxxxx

Have decluttered one very cheeky football supporter from the doorstep with a flea in his ear when he rang the bell to ask if he could park across my drive (effectively blocking me in for the duration). He did offer me a fiver mind which was quite tempting but not enough to overcome the principle.

    Brilliant...
At least he asked. It would have been a real PITA if he hadn't ;)

Welcome to all the newbies. Start off doing little bits and bobs, and it will all come together. And if you really need to do one thing, but its not that day on the list, just do it.. you can cross it off, when that day comes around ;)
If you need a kick, just ask, and someone will do it for ya ;) (Just make sure you have the yellow pages in your pants first :rotfl:)
