OK I have copied the list. Since my last post I have hoovered the stairs and all of downstairs. Finished the use up soup I made yesterday. Teens are having friends over and have bought some pizzas to cook so I will leave the downstairs for now. DS has come home and hoovered the stairs to his room. DD is clearing 2 of the 3 xmas jig saws off the table, the 3rd is still under construction, 1000 pieces but should be done by tomorrow. Do I have to finish this list today to get a star or can I complete what's left tomorrow after guests have gone?WL 11 st 5lb as at 050109. 160209 11st 2lb

HH in the kitchen done of sorts... I'm cleaning the oven but since its so long since it was last used (except for Xmas eve & day) I'm leaving it to soak with the door open so the cleaner actually sits on the glass door and doesn't just slide off like last time. This has kind of limited the jobs I can do in there now as its such a small kitchen and an undercounter oven:rolleyes: However I have done all bar 3 things of the washing up (drainer now full so the rest will have to wait until I wash the lunch dishes) and made a start on the food inventory (only the freezer which is majorly scary left to do).
Right, updatey list time...

GnB - same here - everything had been deep cleaned last week, and I kept on stop of stuff over the last few days. Probably my fastest list completion ever!'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

Have you thought about an induction hob? I've always had gas and would really struggle with a traditional electric cooker but I've had the induction hob for almost two years now and can't really think of any disadvantages (other than the price- and any cookware has to be magnetic). Benefits in a nutshell: very quick to heat up, as responsive as gas when you turn it down, fields only get hot if you put a pan on and any spilled food doesn't burn, because the cooker itself doesn't get as hot.

Just attacked the corner of the kitchen - why does OH think that throwing something away means ' pile it in the corner until someone else sorts it out'procrastinator wrote: »Do I have to finish this list today to get a star or can I complete what's left tomorrow after guests have gone?
As you can see I have done nothing much so far......I have had a shower though:p
