    Ironing challenge completed!!!:j:j:j

I want to wish all flyladies, their families and loved ones a Happy New Year, full of light, love and joy.

A friend sent me a New Year's greeting once, telling me to 'forgive quickly, kiss slowly, laugh and love uncontrollably, and never regret anything that made me smile'. Not bad advice, methinks - wish I'd listened sooner.

Catch-up time with Fred tomorrow. Off next door now with DS2.

    Lots of love,
    MrsCx

My family (well BIL mainly and kids) can't understand why I want to go BUT it's somewhere I have wanted to see for a long time and why do a boring beach holiday - nothing wrong with that as such but this is a special occasion!
I love Majorca and really love Menorca but I wanted to do something different *stamps foot* so I am!

valli - I totally understand - I have no inclination to go on a beach holiday. Over the last few years, my Summer holidays have included Budapest, Berlin, Vilnius, Belfast and Copenhagen!

Haven't decided about next year yet ............

pigpen - is there anything we can do to help?

Piggers, are we allowed to know exactly what has caused this pending storm?

    No.
well I think it might be a first if you give us a day off pigpen - do you want to change the habit of a lifetime?

Do we need to give you an alibi while some evil revengeful deed is done - KH will gets what heis due - what goes around comes around without any doubt!

Littles have gone to bed, can I slope off with a book now? The joy of living with someone who understands why reading is essential cannot be underestimated. I must have been mad the first time!

erm... you've already had a couple of trial runs... if there's another one like him out there (I notice he does DIY too ;)) I think I'm first in the queue..

    Fedup ... it's seriously tempting...

Mrs C - very good advice...

Back to my VERY trashy reading :D with a glass or two of red...

ETA - Valli - I think you should have the Waste book after soappie and rach... you seem very exercised by the idea of it....

That's just what I feel - and such common sense sometimes to - but dished out so nicely...I feel I could ask on here and SOMEONE would know...

    ditto your excellent post Boddy...
