I'm not going out and DD is only in bed as there is nothing suitable on TV for her to watch.....she is upstairs watching a DVD.....OH has gone out...he did ask if I minded first....not a prob....nothing happening here, so I can chill.


Am I theonly one who joined up to the ironing challenge and has no chance of doing it????

Tooch - I think I've given up - I've done loads of ironing and I still have loads left so unless I get the urge to do some more later on it's just not gonna happen!

well I think it might be a first if you give us a day off pigpen - do you want to change the habit of a lifetime?

Do we need to give you an alibi while some evil revengeful deed is done - KH will gets what heis due - what goes around comes around without any doubt!

Monday ~ Kitchen and Dining Area ALL DONE TOOTS

Tuesday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs
Level Two
Vacuum hallway and right up the stairs
Level Three
Wipe sticky marks from sofas and paintwork

Extras

1. S&S the porch

Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom and Landing
Level One
Declutter the floordrobe!
Level Two
Tidy a chest of drawers or a cupboard
[STRIKE]Stash away all the christmas paper, presents etc for next year[/STRIKE]:D
Vacuum the floors
Level Three
Polish mirrors and windows
Clear the bedside units/tables/bookpiles
Extras

1. Sort through a box of gibble
2. dust and deweb
3. Do a small job you have been putting off for weeks and weeks

Thursday ~ Childrens rooms and the bathroom!
Level One..
Childrens jobs: Collect ALL the dirty laundry from your bedroom and put it in the wash basket!
Parent jobs (includes daddy too!): Clear and mop the bathroom floor
Throw away all the empties and put the new toiletries in the bathroom in the correct places!
Level Two
Childrens jobs: fill a binbag with rubbish, or stuff that is no longer used for charity shop/bin
Parents jobs: Clean the loo and the bath and the shower and the basins and the bidet and the tiles!
Wash any shower curtains/bath mats that are in need
shine the taps!
Level Three
Childrens jobs: Vacuum the floor and take down to the kitchen and dirty cups/pots/beakers
Parents jobs: Inspect the childrens rooms and help them make room for their new stuff if they are not old enough to do this themselves! If it looks good then they are permitted a reward for their hard work..
Empty bins etc from upstairs
[STRIKE]Strip and wash childrens bedding[/STRIKE]:D
Extras

1. Wash any windows in these rooms that need it
2. Binbag dance
3. Use up any remaining christmas food before it grows legs and starts running!

TBH I don't give a flying cos I'm doing nowt anyway.. and you don't even want to know what mood I'm in, or be within about 5000 miles of me at the moment.

This morning I went to visit a friend and her LO - they moved a few miles away so I don't see them as often as I used to - and LO had us in stitches several times (she's not quite 2) When I said I had to go, she asked for and gave me a lovely long cuddle, then said 'coat on' gave me my bag before I'd even got my arms in the coat and said 'bye' :rotfl:

I also went to Mr M and got loads of bargains

hex, oh they have one of those at little Matthew's house because he tried to eat it too, gross child. As for the booze not entirely, children/no babysitter also contributes eg after all the issues we have had with them I won't have more than one drink while there is just me in as noone else here. It isn't great drinking with a damaged liver of course, I still have the adenomas there, so I am more careful but when I have the opportunity for a hair down time (about 2 years ago was the last one) I make the most of it costs me a fortune as I can still drink a lot and I love cocktails/mixing
Ironing finishers well done, juliejim I think it'd be a good thing to acknowledge the pile is smaller than it would have been without the challenge. Who is still completing/given up? I did the sheets washing last so I could pull all the ironing bits out earlier to get them done but I iron very little hence I didn't want to cheat!
I've also been doing my bag Valli, but still working on it. I tipped it out last night to make me deal with it. YUK! I'm still sorting out bags, deciding which one should have what in as I use 3 - grab bag, mary poppins bag and a slightly smarter poppins bag.
pigpen if you don't mind I think I would like one....well I think I would but you will put nasty stuff on so maybe not....I got some cupboards which need sorting so if not I am tackling those. Sending you good mood vibes, not that it'll help much x x x

Kids have sausage rolls (taste ok) onion rings, fruit and popcorn. They are watching Pirates of the Carribean and I am watching Johnny Depp **drool**

My family (well BIL mainly and kids) can't understand why I want to go BUT it's somewhere I have wanted to see for a long time and why do a boring beach holiday - nothing wrong with that as such but this is a special occasion!
I love Majorca and really love Menorca but I wanted to do something different *stamps foot* so I am!
Oooh Lil-me am green with envy! *drools*
Sateliite won't work so DD is watching i-player through Wii

Piggers hope it's sorted soon.

If we have a list tomorrow I'll be doing washing - towels ready to go on overnight as I have done bathroom today *glow* but we have a family party New Years Day - always have...it's at my mums. I have cooked the gammon for it, it is in the shed as I can't fit it in the fridge (in a polybox) think it will be fine in there as it's so cold out.

Going to dry pots and put away now.
