Its so good to hear you're happy. There's a lot of not happy about at the moment (it's a difficult time of year). And it gives me hope that I might one day find someone who can put up with me ;)

I did pretending to be someone I am not for years till a mate got killed on his motorcycle. Amazing what a sense of perspective that gives you. Met DH shortly afterwards, both walked out on a (dead) marriage weeks later. There is such a thing as love at first sight, and it is worth fighting for. Neither of us perfect, I for one can be a complete cow and he has been really quite annoying today, but I would never, ever wave a magic wand and make him vanish. I had no plans for a new relationship, certainly no plans for children, ever. Amazing how quickly things can change. You never know what is round the corner .

Remind me of this when he next really annoys me!

On a flying front we have de-cluttered dinner, and the blue foaming dog is out for a walk so it can be sick outside :p.

Third star earned please, bathroom and kids rooms muchos improved. They didn't want to help but they did eventually. We have everything upstairs apart from the Guitar Hero as the Wii is down here.
AnW'sMum I think there is a few of us staying home as always x
Hex we will, don't you worry ;)

I was considering letting the boys stay up a bit later, see peoples mentioning about things with the children because of new year but they are being moody already so unsure if I will. My family have never been ones for celebrating New Year in a big way, so it's never bothered me either.

8 loads of washing done and away today so far, the machines on again with another duvet in it.

Blue moon at 7.22pm, shame DSs telescope was broken when we moved.
One day I might be more organised...........

So true. We lost a close friend in a motorcycle accident almost 7 years ago. Completely changed how we live our lives.

On the flying front I've done fairly well, still have sheets to change and bathroom to clean. Will probably do this tomorrow/Saturday.

DD finally came out of her tantrum and cleared the floor enough for me to hoover. She's still quite full of attitude to be honest....and she's only 5  (not looking forward to the teenage years!).

I'm off for a quiet collapse on the sofa. There may be drink involved, and rubbish TV is sure to feature. Gone are the days when we partied hard on a New Year's Eve, not getting to bed until 3 or 4am. DS gets up at 6 am so I'd be fit for nothing!

I'll be tucked up in bed at just gone midnight - that's if I manage to stay awake that long!

Hope everyone has a good evening.
    Take care

I have finally finished the sicky washing!!! :j:jIts all been through on a 60 so its taken a while especially as there was 5 loads (bedding took 2 of them!) now I'm aiming to get the remaining 5 (plus 1 in the machine) done by midnight. I'm also aiming to get ALL my cleaning upstairs done tonight - DD is now downstairs eating jelly (it always settles her tummy when she's been ill) so I can get in the bedrooms ;) I haven't actually got that much to do, and then I might start the ironing although I know there's alot more than about 2-3 hours worth there, especially if I'm washing/drying stuff as well

    2. Use up any remaining christmas food before it grows legs and starts running!

Am utterly amazed with me and Emily too - spent hours this morning absolutley gutting her room and throwing out 2 binbags of 'stuff' that was rubbish/broken and another bag to go to charity shop. Then hoovered and dusted and wiped down surfaces and remade bed. We then had our godsons (5 & 7) round for the afternoon and the four kids played in her room and she wouldn't let them make a mess - have just been up to check and it is immaculate - WELL DONE EMILY! :T:T:T
Please can I have a snowman?

Ben does that too despite being well fed. I did some research on it and it is something to do with the high fat content - the equiv of chocolate for dogs apparently. Disgusting! We swapped for a covered litter tray from Argos which helped a lot.

Littles are in the bath ready for bed with the second half of the bath bomb. We may have over done the dye .

hex Sorry but that made me laugh. I had a picture in my mind of your collie with a puzzled look on its face wondering why blue stuff was coming out of its mouth.

I stopped being someone I wasnt when I was 40. Had always been what others wanted me to be till then. Suddenly something happens in life and you make a life changing decision. Best thing I ever did.
