180/350/gas 4 for around 30 minutes, check with a stick and if they are still wet in the middle put em in for another 5 and so on.

what size paper cases would you use for that cooking time? I guess a larger American Muffin size rather than a uk fairy cake kinda size.

I too get very confused about what people mean when they say cupcake & muffin. We need an international standard convention where we can sample various sizes to define the name!!! lol:D What do ya reckon, 3 or 4 days of eating cakes??

Had a bake day today! Tried out a few different cake recipes started with a basic sponge and just added various ingredients, such as lemon, strawberries orange and they seem to have worked although they could do with a little more flavouring! Also made some white chocolate orange cookies yum! x

I treat myself to a cupcake from Hummingbirds every time I visit London. The carrot cupcake and nutella cakes are to die for

Whenever I make cupcakes or muffins the case always seems to come away from the cake after a couple of hours. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to stop this happening?

Take them out of the tin as soon as you get them out of the oven - they'll stay 'attached' then!
