    Hi skaps,

Having read the advice above, I'm not going to count the kids bus fares during the winter months as it's a necessity. However, will reconsider past the Easter hols when it's light enough / warm enough for them to walk.

Same goes for your Oyster I think - I don't think I would count it as was a total necessity for work costs??

  • Evening all,

I'm finally off the mark with my first NSD today, largely on account of the weather and the conditions on the roads being so awful, I've not left the house. :D

Well done to everyone doing so well, and best wishes to everyone.

Off to update my sig... at last!

NSD number 5 happened today. It's only thanks to the foul weather really. Tomorrow is going to be a spendy day though because i'm getting cabin fever and I am forcing myself to go and do some grocery shopping...going to pick my Mum up and take her so she can do some grocery shopping too.

Of course the other way is to avoid saying no, but don't actually do the yes.

Today - I was asked at work (when not at my desk) to contribute to someones birthday gift ... said "of course". But then didn't go back to my desk as was in meeting. Found out that contributions had to be in for today as gift bought tonight - phew, close shave!

DD2 asked for 20p so she could make up the money in her piggy bank to transfer to bank ... said no, told her to check the bottom of her school bag, down side of chairs, sisters school bags, jacket pockets etc.... she soon found it!
