Todays a no spend day, the only positive thing about it.
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.
  • I would've had an NSD yesterday but ran out of petrol on the way home, so had to stick £10 on my debit card for that. :( I'm hoping for one today though as I have absolutely no spending plans!

Can i just check the rules - children need £1 each per school day for bus fares. This is put into a pot at the beginning of the month and they take it out as needed (sometimes there's extra left in because they'll walk home or get a lift home). I can't encourage them to walk (about 3 miles) in the winter - too dark and cold, but they'll happily do it in the summer. If they take the money out of the pot - is this a spend???

I don't think it counts, as every time i use my oyster i don't count this. Today ive done pretty well and am home early thawing out by the heater, but i had to top up 50p on my oyster. Does this count as a spend?

There's not set rules ceebeeby, whatever works for you really. I wouldn't count it as it's necessary.

Some people don't count petrol as a spend, but as I do I've had a spend day today, silly car!
