Ooh thanks, I've joined them recently for a stamp for my Avon order forms!
Have been thru all the boxes of stuff and written down exactly what I have, just need to allocate them to people now. DH forgot to get the hamper box down so that's a job for him when he gets home from work...
I've been on Flying Pig's thread for Christmas crafts and am thinking of making a few bits and pieces too. The reindeer wrapped choc bars and choc oranges look fab.*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0 -
Argh! Still stuck for a gift to go in a christmas cracker for a 1 year old!
Any ideas? Could be a keepsake or a little toy (although not too little obviously)
Thinking about £20 but am pretty flexible on that0 -

Ive managed to get the majority of my shopping finished this weekend. Need a couple of gift bags when I work out the sizes i need and some straw for my hampers. Need some selection boxes for some of the kids and boxs of sweets for the adults but wont get them too soon as I got some a couple of weeks ago and we have ate them all. Need to get some sweets for a retro sweet box but gotta find out if my nephews brace will come off before christmas so i know if it can be sticky or chocolate he can suck on. Also got a few pressies for me too which is really naughty. Treat myself to a Marc Jacobs lola perfume gift set and a radley purse and tote bag. Oops. Anyway just need to buy something for my dad now but am really stuck.0

Hi all
I'm a newbie on this thread
I've managed to get about half of my Christmas pressies (large list !!!!!!) and am quite exhausted with all the prep.
However The Catalogue bargain shop by me has lovely sex in the city perfume for a £5.00 smells lovely RRP £20.00:j
Ikea does small glass storage jars 3 for £1.90 as a different method for storing coffee
Mentioned a non-buying adults for Xmas pack for next year will see have that one simmers:rotfl:
Can anyone suggest where to get cheap storage boxes for the homemade gift boxes that can hold a bottle of whiskey (Joint present for in-laws as they child mind without charging)?0 -

Hi all, I am a newbie here, I wish I had found this site months ago I might not be panicking so much now! My son's b'day is xmas eve so is such a busy time. I adore Christmas but money is tight this year so have lots of brill ideas thanks to you all, the hampers are a great idea. My daughter is 18 and I find it so easy to buy for her, just get stuff I like!
I am doing lunch (again!) for 8 of us, have decided to make everyone salt dough decorations with their initials, they will be their place settings and then they can hang them on their trees. So must buy some paints and get started on that! QD are always good for cheap crackers, although Wilkinsons have some for under £1.
All ideas for dad's/father in laws greatfully received! Also presents that have to go to Australia!
Thanking you all in advance.🎄The most wonderful time of the year 🎄0 -
Looked at the book people site today and they have some good multiple books offers for example charlie and lola 10 books for a £9.99 etc, also had club penguin, wizards of waverly place:eek: o be I hate the fact this show implies its okay to be an idiot
Also BM bargains has 3 tiny kilner jars for a £1.00. This is for my cinnamon coffee for mil and fil
I also bought 2 beautiful boxes for gift baskets for mil and mum £4.00 each in store 21 (last week it was qs) .:j:j
Also on an up note the stress of buying the adults for Christmas has sister, sil and mother agreeing to the no adult presents !!!! Only 1 sil left and 2011 will be much less stressful0 -
Strangely enough in tesco today they had some buy 1 get 2 free offer that included simple mosturizer, face wipes, toner and cleanser. Another one was on toothbrushes, pringles, pizzas and a few other things0
