Any ideas for alternatives to paper hats and naff jokes for my christmas crackers? Thinking of fitting the cracker contents to the person they will be set for. Only have 6 to do but cant think of anything. I hate being made to wear a paper hat but am aware that makes me a bit humbug which I most certainly am not! I LOVE christmas just not cheesy hats and jokes0

As PP mentioned art/ craft hamper might be good. I've done one for my 16YO sister who loves art. I got loads of stuff from mad about cards website, they have a sale section and you can get loads of fab stuff. I got loads in the 25p sale. huge hamper all for about £150 -

add a sweet instead of hat and how about a game instead of jokes eg a suggestion for a pictionary game or a name of a celeb and everyone has to guess who you are by asking questions etcPucker up and kiss it Whoville! - The Grinch:kiss:0 -

Am feeling it now people - 9 weeks today we'll be planning Christmas 2011!!!
DH has been tasked with getting the boxes of recycled gifts down from the attic today, along with the box of stuff left over from last year's Xmas eve hamper. I plan to go thru it all later and write down who's having what exactly so I have a list of what's left to buy. My fab Mam has bought DS Christmas Eve PJ's so they're sorted, and I got DH and I some new PJ's in Peacocks recently when I had a 40% off voucher.
Have decided to get my parents / in laws a 2011 photo calender of DS, does anyone have any experience of buying these please?

I get mine from Vistaprint. There is a link for them at 99p at the minute plus p+p. It comes out to just over £5 if you choose the slowest postage rate which is a BARGAIN! They are good quality, easy to do, and mine came quicker than the 3 weeks they said. I would definately suggest you use them.0
