I sprayed my plant pots yesterday ready for my pots of gold but think they'll need another coat so I'll do that tomorrow. Picked up a few nice things in B&M the other day, not sure whether to get a Christmas tree for my bedroom??
I was telling my mum yesterday about the Christmas eve hampers that you guys make and she said it sounded like a wonderful idea, so I'm going to make up one for her and my dad. Also going to make my brother a chilli hamper, my other brother a coffee hamper (thinks sooo much to the person who mentioned jack daniels coffee, he'll love it!!) and would like to make one for my mum and dad but not sure what theme to go with.
Really need to get a to do list together as I keep thinking I have plenty of time but I want organised by 1st Dec which is only 43 days away!!!

43 days until dec sounds very close! I want to be fairly organised by then, even if it means having bought everything for hampers etc. I am on the right track now.Debt free wannabe

do you have a matalan? they often have their jewellery on offer as well, although primark is definitely the best place.Debt free wannabe

Eeeek my Christmas tree goes up on 1st December!!! I need to redecorate before that too!!
Ooooohh I'm so pleased this morning! Dropped DS at school then popped into our tiny town to see if the local shoe store had these shoes my Grandad fancied a few weeks ago (I did try a few weeks ago but they didn't have his size!) But today I was able to get them!! He'll be over the moon on Xmas day!
Also just had my delivery from Body Shop and also collected my Boots order from our teeny Boots store earlier! It's all coming together now!!
Only problem is - the place I have stashed most pressies (walk in airing cupboard - also houses combi boiler) will need to be cleared because I've got British Gas coming to do the annual boiler service in a few weeks!!!! Not looking forward to pulling it all out (it's like an art form stacking them all up and hoping they won't topple lol) Plus I need to keep them away from my Son's prying eyes!!
Went into the City on Saturday and felt really festive walking around. Most of the shops have Christmas stuff in them now - it's all very exciting!0 -
it is all very exciting isn't it!!! i went to poundland today and picked up some wrapping paper and cheap gift tags. a few years ago I was really pleased with myself as i had all my presents bought and wrapped really early. then on christmas eve i realised i had no idea which presents were for who so i had to open most of them and start again!!! so this year i have bought sticker ift tags that i can jst stick on as i go along then ill add proper tags when everything has come together!!
i wont be able to redo my pots of gold today as it is pouring down here so thats on hold until tomorrow hopefully.
im thinkin about organising a christmas night out for people at work, in my team theres about 10 people so i think it would be nice to get a night out together and perhaps ill be able to persuade them to do a secret santa as well!!!

I always buy the sticker tags too. They're fab and don't fall off like others!! Only issue for me is they don't usually give a lot of room to write on them.
I get mine from Card Factory.
I'm thinking about getting some wrapping done soon - at least my OH's gifts then he can't have a peek!! Still got loads of Playmobil to put togethernot leaving that until blummin' Christmas Eve!!!
