If I posted everything I owned on here, bath and body/make up wise - I'd be here for a very long time, and you would get bored reading it - that's how much I have.

I regularly chuck stuff out/give it away - recently filled a black bag worth of make up/body lotions/hair stuff etc etc. Everything has an expiration date and if you don't use something up it's as much a waste as giving it away anyway.

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.

I look at it this way: this stuff (and I mean that for everyone) might have a fairly long shelf life, but it will eventually go off and they are expensive to buy again, and also a disappointment to us when we go back to the bottles and find that they are gone off.

As for Liz Earle, it took me all of 2009 to get through two pumps and a tube of the Cleanse & Polishes which my mum gave to me - good luck using them up! ;)

I know, its going to take me a while!! I've also got lots of 1litre botles of condition to use up - where i've finished the shampoo and not the conditioner!!

What i started doing last year was when a Liz Earle TSV came up i looked at what was being offered (the full sizes especially), and if i had run out of these I would buy them. Then the other bits that came with it got given as gifts or sold on ebay. This way i only ended up buying 2 of her 4 TSVs and do not have such a huge stash.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Hi. I bought this once and LOVED it! Since then, I've never been able to find it again. Is it still out there? Please tell! I would then go and hoard it as if preparing for the apocalypse!

Hi found it on the boots website.

Also anyone got any cheap versions of shampoo and conditor for curly and dry hair - also if it detangles that would be great too? Seem to spend lots of money on this and used to use Aveda sap moss the 1 litre sizes which used to last me a year but now they have discontinued this line, need to find an alternative.

  • I have just found this thread... and it has made me laugh so much!
I have spent the last few months trying to use up my stash of toiletries.... I was a Boots Queen at one stage and used every single voucher I received.
So while my stash of shampoo, shower gel, body butter etc has gone down significantly.... I have 15 tubes of Olay daily face wash (Im a Clarins girl!) and 18 various bits of Time Delay skincare!!!!!!!
My problem was I used to put it at the back of my wardrobe, so never really realised how much I had until I found this thread last night and went to have a look!!
I have 14 bottles of perfume... because I love it, and do not intend to change that. My DD19 has followed in my footsteps and has 11 bottles!!

Morning all, lynzpower thats very sweet of you and Faalia if you do actually need some no7 r/m stuff and need a voucher , do try "wombling" lol. Ive found that ss tills are the best as when you get your receipt there are often loads of vouchers just behind where the carrier bags are, so its not too cringeworthy if your that way inclined.
Well will report back later when i have a mo. Good luck ladies.

Ps does anyone know what the birmingham city stores are like for stock for sale stuff , no toiletries ie cuff links , mini mode etc, other gifts etc i would appreciate it pls, tia

    Nab

    xx
You laugh because I'm different......I laugh cause I just farted!

I've mananged to use up a Liz Earle exfoliator pump and a mini 15ml moisturiser, plus another pack of wipes although it only had a few wipes in.

I dont quite know why i had 2 opened packs of wipes that were both half used

My Mum has given me a pack of cotton pads so thats another pack to add to my stash :rotfl:
