It's a shame we couldn't set up some sort of 'swap shop' for beauty products etc - I'm sure some people on here might love Impulse body spray for example, and I've got two here that I will NEVER use.

I used some Impulse as air freshner... it was 85p in Superdrug- don't know why I bought because I never use it!

OH bought me some Victoria's Secret Body spray (not aerosol) and that is AMAZING

Haha I've just been on the Grabbit board.... looks like a few people have fallen off the wagon !!! :) xx

Come on then ladies own up:D. I went into boots today and one of my fav Sas who only works weekends, admitted she was trying to stop hoarding too. I was telling her about my challenge last week and realised i've gone a week without actually buying products, i did get my free nail polish but no money or points exchanged hands, so im really pleased with myself, hope i can make it last a bit longer at least, taking each day at a time. Wow i sound like an addict dont i?:o

That's what I have... Love Spell in a purple bottle.

It's sooooooooooooo divine. He bought me a full set of it last year- it's very addictive! He goes to the US several times a year and one place he stays is opposite a mall with a VS so I'm a very lucy girly!

Its crazy i have lots of air fresheners on the go. I had 3 in my ensuite toilet !!! Am not going to bulk buy things like air fresheners, cleaning sprays etc. Have had to hide them in the cupboard, i blame the OH. When he gets bored of one smell another air freshener gets started.

On the plus side i have sold 2 items on ebay with another 3 yet to finish. :j By the end of this week the cupboards will be a bit clearer.

  • You are very lucky indeed. I've got to make my supply last me until i go to US in April 2011. I certainly hope i can make it last that long. One way i hoping to make it last is to try and use up all my other perfumes and save Love Spell for special occasions.

I find a great way to use perfumes is to leave a bottle by where ever you keep your house keys/car keys that way you always pick up your keys so more often than not you will remember to put on a splash of perfume.

    On the

But it is so important to have air freshner in the bathroom for those not so nice smells.

I buy the avon ones as they are really cheap and last for ages. I've got one on the go in the bathroom and have two molton brown ones in the hall which i'm finishing up and its nice to give the downstairs a little squirt if someone is coming around.

It is i agree but 3 in one room is a bit much. I get mine from Aldi as they are cheap and smell nice too. Did not know that molton brown did air fresheners, i better forget you told me that ;)

  • Yes definitely forget i told you that, they are expensive. Maybe remember it come your birthday or next Christmas. You can sometimes pick up the smaller bottles fairly cheaply on ebay, but forget i told you that as well!!

PMSL- Check my sig out... Yesterday I set a personal cleaning product challenge of £120 for the year as well as beauty products!!! My downfall is fabric conditioner and air freshener- althouh I went to TK Maxx the other week and bought 5 'room cologne's' which are really posh and reduced to £2 each!
